  • Patent number: 11280896
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide relatively accurate position data from a plurality of separate position sensors. A system includes a logic device configured to communicate with a position sensor coupled to a mobile structure. The logic device is configured to receive positions of the position sensor and/or velocities corresponding to motion of the position sensor from the position sensor and determine an estimated relative position of the mobile structure based, at least in part, on the received Doppler-derived velocity and a prior estimated relative position of the mobile structure.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 14, 2019
Date of Patent: March 22, 2022
    Assignee: FLIR Belgium BVBA
    Inventors: Oliver Hawker, Stephen Wilkins

  • Publication number: 20190257397
Abstract: A coupling assembly includes a first shaft, a first housing configured to receive the first shaft, a second housing configured to attach to the first housing, a first gear positioned in the second housing and engaged with the first shaft, a first bearing positioned between the first gear and the second housing, a third housing, a second gear positioned in the third housing and engaged with the first gear, a second shaft that extends through the third body and engages the second gear, and a second bearing positioned between the second shaft and a wall of the third housing. The second shaft may rotate relative to the third housing and cause the first gear to drive the first shaft in an axial movement relative to the first housing and the second housing.

  • Publication number: 20070118834
Abstract: A method for changing self-description data of a functional device in a computing system. The method may include virtualizing the functional device to create a virtual functional device, and adding, changing, or removing information in the self-description information sent from a functional device as a part of virtualization of the device by a hypervisor. Changing the self-description data of the functional device occurs after the self-description data has left the functional device.

  • Publication number: 20060133576
Abstract: X-ray generation apparatus including an elongated target body and a mount from which the body projects to a tip remote from the mount. The target body includes a substance that, on being irradiated by a beam of electrons of suitable energy directed onto the target body from laterally of the elongate target body, generates a source of x-ray radiation from a volume of interaction of the electron beam with the target body. The mount provides a heat sink for the target body.
