  • Publication number: 20230415009
Abstract: An indoor or outdoor team game employing slotted playing sticks. According to a preferred version, the game requires one handed play using the slotted playing sticks, which are formed with a blade portion having an inward (concave) curve formed on each side of the blade to enable bi-directional (left and right handed) play. The blade is further defined by a symmetrical lattice structure that creates a racquet-like effect in addition to producing slots for air to pass therethrough. A scoring goal is further provided, preferably having one or more enhanced scoring zones, the game not requiring a goalkeeper.

  • Publication number: 20140259667
Abstract: A system, kit and method for non-structural surface repair and reconditioning of industrial sized blades includes an initial evaluation and power washing step for identifying required repairs. A surface cleaning step combines power washing with application of muratic acid and various mechanical tools and techniques for removing environmental and chemical buildup. A succeeding step provides for non-structural surface repairs to the blades, such as including filling and reshaping the leading edges with the use of an impact resistant urethane and/or a fast cure epoxy and fiberglass cloth. A finish coating step includes applying a chemically resistant and submersible grade (i.e. water resistant) top coat epoxy.

  • Publication number: 20060201946
Abstract: Conventional adhesive and contact welding methods for holding the paperboard and plastic components of a composite closure together present a number disadvantages and do not lend themselves easily to mass production. The present invention describes two novel approaches, firstly the preassembly heating of the closure components with directed hot air to partially melt the thermoplastic surfaces and allow the parts to be immediately assembled sealingly and, secondly, a novel construction of plastic and paperboard composite closure in which the plastic rim is of a two-piece snap-fit constructions which firmly grips the top panel of the paperboard lid.

  • Patent number: 6332511
Abstract: A silencer assembly having a cylindrical chamber having a closed cylindrical outer wall, a first end wall and a second end wall, the first end wall having an inlet therein, and the second end wall having an outlet therein, an internal annular chamber proximate the cylindrical outer wall, the internal annular chamber bounded by the cylindrical outer wall and by a perforated cylindrical inner wall, the internal annular chamber containing single strand fiberglass acoustic fill material, the internal annular chamber having no internal barriers therein, and, a perforated generally cylindrically shaped core located inside of the cylindrical chamber positioned in spaced relation to the internal annular chamber and also in spaced relation to the inlet and outlet, creating a generally annular shaped passageway for exhaust gas, the core containing single strand fiberglass acoustic fill material.
