  • Publication number: 20240159107
Abstract: A method includes drilling a first bore into a formation to a first depth, the bore having a bore wall and a first diameter that is sufficient to receive a casing pipe. A casing pipe is driven into the drill bore, the casing pipe having a binder on an exterior surface of the casing pipe that is configured to secure the casing pipe to the bore wall, the casing pipe being secured to an anchoring nut at a proximal end. The anchoring nut includes a gripping feature. An anchoring clamp of a drill rig is engaged with the gripping feature of the anchoring nut to thereby anchor the drill rig to the formation. The anchoring clamp includes a plurality of jaws that are movable toward and away from a central axis.

  • Publication number: 20240041410
Abstract: A computerized method performed by a processor, an apparatus and a computer program product the method comprising: receiving a model associated with a baseline of one or more biomechanical parameters of one or more action types of a subject, the model describing the biomechanical parameters during a first time period; obtaining one or more values characterizing the biomechanical parameter of the action type in an uncontrolled environment during a second time period, the second time period being later than the first time period; determining whether the value characterizing the biomechanical parameter during the second time period are in compliance with the model; and outputting an alert if the values are not in compliance with the model.

  • Patent number: 11756687
Abstract: A computerized method performed by a processor, an apparatus and a computer program product the method comprising: receiving a model associating motion parameters of an action performed by a subject with a score, the model based at least partially on data obtained in a controlled environment while performing a task on a first time period; determining action parameters during motion of the subject within an uncontrolled environment on a second time period; and providing the action parameters to the model, to obtain an assessment of an expected score for the subject performance of the task as would be performed by the subject in the controlled environment.

  • Publication number: 20210386325
Abstract: A computerized method performed by a processor, and computer program product the method comprising: receiving sensory data of motion by a human subject, the sensory data obtained during motion in an uncontrolled environment; extracting features from the sensory data; identifying a plurality of strides from the features extracted from the sensory data; calculating kinematic parameters of each stride from the plurality of strides from the sensory data; classifying each stride from the plurality of strides in accordance with the kinematic parameters to obtain a stride type; and outputting the stride type for the plurality of strides.

  • Publication number: 20140016540
Abstract: A mobile communications network for communicating broadcast data to a plurality of mobile communications devices by transmitting the broadcast data via a wireless access interface, the mobile communications network including a plurality of base stations disposed throughout the network and arranged in operation to transmit signals to mobile communications devices attached to the base stations, and one or more relay nodes. One of the relay nodes is arranged in operation to receive a first signal representing the broadcast data transmitted by one or more of the base stations and to retransmit the broadcast data as a second signal, the first signal being broadcast for reception by a first mobile communications device and the relay node and the second signal being broadcast for reception by a second mobile communications device.

  • Publication number: 20120008533
Abstract: A network for a mine or other hazardous environment is provided. The network can include a plurality of access points that can communicate with each other. The access points can be deployed along a plurality of pillars in a room-and-pillar mine. The access points can interconnect a mobile wireless client device within the mine with an operations centre. In the event of an explosion or other disaster, a UPS battery back-up and the redundancy of the access points can increase the likelihood that a link between the wireless client device and the operations center can be maintained.
