  • Patent number: 5023995
Abstract: A cable stripping tool comprises a coring blade having dual coring edges on its leading end and a respective helical groove for each edge for leading cored plastic material away from the end of a cable as the cable is being stripped of plastic dielectric material to expose the center conductor, and an angled chamfering cutter for chamfering and cutting back the metal sheath which surrounds the dielectric material, the helical groove means of the blade extending to the rearward end of the blade to open into a relief space in the inner end portion of the tool holder.

  • Patent number: 4597496
Abstract: The frictional grip tool holder includes an extruded plastic housing (A). The extruded housing defines an integral, first mounting channel (12) and a facing second mounting channel (14) which define a planar region therebetween. The housing further defines an integral stabilizing channel (20) which is disposed directly above the midpoint of the planar region. A first resilient finger array (B) is mounted in the first mounting channel extending along the planar region; and a second finger array (C) is mounted in the second mounting channel extending along the planar region. The first and second finger arrays terminate in free finger ends (40, 42) contiguous with each other below the stabilizing channel. A bolt-like threaded member (50) extends through the housing adjacent the first and second mounting channels.

  • Patent number: 4423284
Abstract: A generally rectangular wiring raceway having the form of a moulding duct and capable of housing cable TV, telephone, computer, low voltage and other cables. The duct is designed such that it may be opened and closed for initial cable installation, for line inspections, servicing and the installation of additional cable. The raceway is comprised of an elongated back panel having a top leg and a bottom leg. The top leg has a snap engagement member and the bottom leg forms one part of a longitudinally extending hinge section. Additionally, an elongated front panel is provided. The front panel has a snap engagement member at its top for mating with the corresponding snap engagement member of the back panel. The front panel also has a longitudinally extending hinge member which mates with the corresponding longitudinally extending hinge section of the back panel.
