  • Patent number: 9876875
Abstract: Optimizing computing device application profiles. Receiving, from power-user computing devices, a set of user-based application profiles, each application profile including one or more device parameter settings associated with an application operable to run on the devices. Evaluating the set on an optimization server computer with an electronic processor operable to: calculate if a count of the profiles of the set exceeds a predefined minimum threshold count; calculate a variance for one of the device parameter settings of the set, if the count exceeds the minimum threshold count; calculate if the variance is below a predefined maximum threshold variance; calculate an optimal value for the one of the device parameter settings, if the variance is below the maximum threshold variance; and storing, in computer-readable storage media of the optimization server computer, the optimal value in a recommended set. Publishing the recommended set towards end-user computing devices configured to run the application.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 24, 2015
Date of Patent: January 23, 2018
    Assignee: Nvidia Corporation

  • Publication number: 20170361691
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cover for protecting the contents of the bed of a pickup truck. In some examples, the cover is designed for use in any standard pickup truck without the need for after-market modifications to the truck. In some examples, the truck bed cover comprises a panel system that is easily installed using the existing stake holes of the truck. In some further examples, the cover includes ability to convert the panels to sidewalls to protect taller cargo. In still further examples, the cover includes retaining cables, support bars, moisture protection, and a locking mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7696632
Abstract: A hydraulic air compressor and generator system may comprise: a hydraulic air compressor comprising a compressed air pipe for conveying the compressed air from the separator chamber; and an electrical power generator positioned in line with the compressed air pipe so that compressed air will directly power the generator. A method for operating an electrical power generator may comprise: positioning the electrical power generator in line with a compressed air pipe of a hydraulic air compressor; and using compressed air output from the HAC to directly power the electrical power generator.
