Patent number: 8092193Abstract: A self-lubricating water-cooled piston-style water pump has a unitary pump housing with a crankcase in direct water communication with the water pump inlet. A low pressure chamber is in direct water communication with the crankcase. A compression chamber is in direct pressurized water communication with a high pressure water manifold through a one-way valve. A high pressure water pump outlet extends outwardly from the manifold to the exterior of the housing. A crankshaft is connected to a connecting rod and a plunger rod, both of which are lubricated and water-cooled in the crankcase. A compression plunger has water channels therethrough connected to the plunger rod and in water communication with the low pressure chamber. The plunger is reciprocal within the compression chamber. A second one-way valve is on the plunger in the compression chamber to let water into the compression chamber.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2009Date of Patent: January 10, 2012Assignee: Diversified Dynamics CorporationInventor: Steve Larson

Patent number: 7631805Abstract: Methods and systems for managing personnel security at physical locations. One such method includes managing personnel security for a plurality of different sponsor entities from an administrator entity. The method includes obtaining screening data from a plurality of different vendor entities and individuals associated with those vendor entities, where the screening data is obtained to screen the vendor entities and individuals to determine whether physical access to facilities of the sponsor entities should be granted. The method further includes performing background checks on the outside companies and their employees based on the screening data, where the background checks are initiated by the administrator entity using a computer-based system operated and maintained by the administrator entity.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2004Date of Patent: December 15, 2009Assignee: Eid Passport, Inc.Inventors: Steve A. Patent number: 7290561Abstract: A valve for causing pulsatile flow in a multi-piston plunger pump includes a valve poppet, a valve seat, and a spring biasing the valve poppet against the valve seat; and a mechanism holding the valve poppet in an open position, thereby producing pulsatile flow from the pump. The mechanism includes a magnet and an adjustment mechanism for moving the magnet toward and away from the valve poppet. When the magnet is moved toward the valve poppet, the magnet attracts the poppet away from the valve seat, and when the magnet is moved away from the valve poppet, the magnet releases the poppet. The spring then biases the poppet against the valve seat in a closed position.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2004Date of Patent: November 6, 2007Assignee: Diversified Dynamics CorporationInventor: Steve A. Patent number: 4851724Abstract: A pressure washer according to the preferred teachings of the present invention is disclosed including a pump driven by a gear reduced, high speed, series universal motor supported in a housing by a switch housing. The motor is stopped and started by a pressure actuation switch to remove the necessity of an unloader valve. A valve assembly is provided which includes provisions for allowing or for preventing weepage through the pump and for relieving excessive pressure. The housing is formed of identical, non-mirror image housing halves which are interconnected end for end. Pairs of ribs upstand from the inner surface of the housing halves, with the first of the pair of ribs of the first housing half interacting with the second of the pair of ribs of the second housing half to engage the internal components while the second of the pair of the first housing half and the first of the pair of the second housing half not interfering with the internal components.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 1988Date of Patent: July 25, 1989Assignee: Power Flo Products Corp.Inventors: Gary C.
