  • Patent number: 11857991
Abstract: A wet scrubber having a body that is molded from a plastic material in combination with a nozzle insert that is removably received in the inlet of the wet scrubber and configured to optimize the speed of fluid flow entering a mixing chamber provided in the wet scrubber. Interchangeable nozzle inserts allow to optimize operation of the wet scrubber for different processes the wet scrubber is operating in conjunction with.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 15, 2020
Date of Patent: January 2, 2024
    Assignee: GIFFIN, INC.
Inventors: Abraham J. Salazar, Steve M. Smith, Gregory S. Batchik
  • Publication number: 20210247063
Abstract: An overhead hazard warning for an elevated work platform comprises a light source configured to emit light in a downward direction. The light passes through a first optical lens assembly, a template, and a second optical lens assembly to produce a pattern below the elevated work platform. A heat sink is located above the light source to draw heat radiated by the light source upwards and away from the light source.

  • Patent number: 9336660
Abstract: An overhead hazard warning system for an elevated work platform comprises a projector coupled to the work platform and configured to project a pattern of light downwardly to produce a visual indication on a surface below the work platform, a range finder configured to produce an elevation signal representative of a height of the projector relative to the surface below the work platform, and a controller connected to receive the elevation signal and configured to control the projector based on the elevation signal.

  • Patent number: 9321618
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a pair of telescoping arms pivotally coupled between a base and a platform. Each arm comprises a base portion pivotally coupled to the base to pivot about a base pivot axis, an extension portion slidably coupled to the base portion and pivotally coupled to the platform to pivot about a platform pivot axis, and, a pivot support assembly attached along a side of one arm of the pair facing toward the other arm of the pair. The pivot support assembly is configured to allow longitudinal travel of a pivot anchor with respect to the base portion. The pivot assembly is coupled between the pivot anchors. The drive assembly is connected to controllably move the extension portions inwardly and outwardly with respect to the corresponding base portions, and controllably move the pivot anchors toward and away from the corresponding base pivot axes.
