    Abstract: A wearable computing device may comprise a processor, a base portion, an articulation portion movably coupled to the base portion, and an articulation sensor movably coupling the articulation portion to the base portion. The articulation portion may include a display with a graphical user interface to display an image to the user. The articulation sensor may be disposed in between the articulation portion and the base portion, and be substantially centered behind the display. The articulation sensor may detect an articulation direction of the articulation portion and provide an input to the processor based on the detected direction. The processor may output a revised image on the graphical user interface corresponding to the provided input.

The system comprises a vacuum regulator comprising a valve, wherein the first end of the regulator may be fluidly connected to a vacuum source and the second end of the regulator may be fluidly connected to a patient interface. The valve may comprise a small orifice or pathway, allowing fluid to pass from the second end of the regulator to the first end of the regulator while the valve is closed. The system may also comprise a flow detector, wherein the flow detector is capable of sensing when the patient interface is in contact with a liquid and cause the valve to open, thereby allowing full flow of fluids from the second regulator end to the first regulator end.

    Abstract: Airfoil assemblies and methods of using them are provided to accelerate air flow relative to the airfoil assemblies and to improve laminar air flow over airfoils. The airfoil may include a cathode disposed near a leading portion of the airfoil to ionize on rushing air and for initiating an electric field. An anode disposed near an opposite portion of the airfoil completes the electric field to accelerate ionized air flowing relative to the airfoil, whereby ionized positively charged air particles tend to separate and accelerate continuously toward the anode in a substantially smooth laminar path of travel uninterruptedly. An air ionizing antenna may be employed for radiating an electromagnetic field transversely to the electric field to cause the electromagnetic field to ionize additional air flowing relative to the airfoil.

Each optical lab is set up as a client account on the server with privileges to access the global recourses. Each lab has its own equipment set, the settings and configuration of which, are recorded in one of the client account databases. Other proprietary databases contain price lists, financial information and patient data. The lens calculation software encounters a sequential stream of job requests from different client accounts. The corresponding proprietary account data, allows uniform pricing rules to be applied to lens processing jobs. As jobs are completed, each lab receives an individual packet of printable job ticket data, printable invoice data, electronic interface files for the lens generating equipment, and an extract file for importing into the labs accounting software.
