Abstract: Content of different formats may be sourced from various data sources such as content servers and ingested into a data integration server by an ingestion broker embodied on a non-transitory computer readable medium. The ingestion broker may normalize the content of different formats into a uniform representation that can be indexed and delivered across multiple digital channels for a variety of applications. The normalized content may be analyzed and semantic metadata may be determined from the normalized content. The normalized content can be semantically enriched by associating the semantic metadata and the like with the content. The semantic metadata can be stored in a semantic index that can be used for searching via the data integration server. During search, the semantic metadata can be instantiated as facets for user navigation and refinement of search criteria and additional semantic relationships can be assigned to the words in the normalized content.

Abstract: Disclosed in an example embodiment herein is an apparatus comprising a user interface, and a controller coupled to the user interface. The controller is operative to display images associated with a message that has been forwarded at least once in a predefined format on the user interface, where a first image is associated with the original sender of the message. A first image is associated with the original sender of the message, and an additional image is associated with a party forwarding the message. The controller is operative to receive an input associated with the user interface indicating a selection of a displayed image, and plays back content added to the message by a party associated with the selected image.

A communications server receives a first video feed from a first client and determines whether a face is present in images of the first video feed. The communication server determines whether to suppress images of the first video feed from a second video feed based on whether a face is detected in images of the first video feed. The communication server suppresses images of the first video feed from the second video feed in response to determining to suppress images of the first video feed and disseminates the second video feed to a second client.

The authorization stream includes cyphered seeds and index numbers which are sequentially sent to a group of receivers. The same authorization stream can also be broadcast multiple times to the group of receivers. A conditional access server selects a starting index number and increments the index number by a predefined value. The receivers have a memory to save the current index number for the authorization stream. Any receiver that loses its connection to the broadcast and thereafter reestablishes its connection can retrieve the latest index number being issued in the authorization stream and compare it with the stored index number. When the index numbers match or are within a defined threshold, the receiver will continue to decypher the seeds and decrypt the transport stream.
