Abstract: An environment virtualization infrastructure (EVI) is made up of storage, network, and compute elements which are virtualized in a virtual platform that is implemented on a hardware platform. In some embodiments, the EVI is dynamic and is expressed as a collection of downloadable data structures. The virtual platform can include an EVI with a definable topology and an emulator that configures various components of the EVI automatically. In some embodiments, the emulator is invoked via an Application Programming Interface. The EVI can be implemented as a Software as a Service. In some embodiments, the EVI includes virtual environments that have routers, switches, operating systems, and software applications.

Abstract: Method and system of providing a user interface. The method and system relating to the user of a media device to support displaying video and the user interface in a video rich fashion. The method and system may provide dynamic operations which provide increased functionality and interactivity, such as to provide a multi-functional user interface and navigation portal which provides aesthetically pleasing and functional mosaics of video, advertisements, textual and graphical displays, and other motion or non-motion based displays.

Abstract: A concrete screed which includes an elongated rail and a detachable shoe with a screeding surface. The shoe reversibly snap fits or slides onto the rail, and may be replaced when the screeding surface becomes worn. The rail includes hand grips for hand operation, and a hole in which a handle, pole, or hook may be inserted for pulling or pushing the screed. Screed rail supports may be attached to the elongated rail to allow the screed to be pulled over screed rails while screeding.
