  • Publication number: 20240095334
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to displaying a user interface for sharing an account associated with a first user identity with a second user identity. The user interface includes a first sharing option and a second sharing option. One or more inputs corresponding to a request to share the account are detected. If the one or more inputs include a selection of the first sharing option, a request to invite the second user identity to become a joint owner of the account is transmitted. If the one or more inputs include a selection of the second sharing option, a request to invite the second user identity to become a participant of the account without becoming a joint owner of the account is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 11891878
Abstract: A downhole temporary pressure isolation tool configured to withstand very high gas pressures at high temperatures may be achieved by a variety of configurations, processes, and techniques. In particular implementations, a barrier valve having one or more frangible discs configured to resist fluid flow in a particular specified duration. In some implementations, the barrier valve may achieve a V0 rating. In one embodiment, for example, a barrier valve may prevent the passage of fluid (i.e., gas and/or liquid) at 15,000 psi and a temperature of 400 degrees F. for at least 15 minutes. If the barrier valve has two frangible ceramic discs, it may prevent the passage of fluid from two directions for at least 15 minutes.

  • Publication number: 20220015622
Abstract: An eye-mounted device includes a contact lens that contains a femtoimager and corresponding femtoprojector. The femtoimager captures images of a user's surrounding environment. Images captured by the femtoimager are transmitted to the femtoprojector via a signal path containing digital image processing circuitry to perform one or more image processing functions on the captured images. The image processing circuitry comprises a plurality of filters connected in series and/or parallel that are configurable to implement different types of image processing, depending on the content of the images captured by the femtoimager. Compute approximation and simplification is utilized to reduce the power consumption within the lens. Components outside the contact lens determine the type of image processing, thus reducing power consumption within the contact lens. The femtoprojector then projects the resulting images to the user's retina.

  • Patent number: 10719408
Abstract: Cloud-based storage services are provided for storing and/or sharing content across multiple devices, where the content is periodically synchronized between the devices and the storage service. Conventionally, if locally stored content is deleted from a device, the delete would be propagated to the storage service causing the content to not only be deleted from the storage service but from any other devices where the content was locally stored and synchronized with the storage service. Embodiments are directed to retainment of locally deleted content at the storage service to prevent accidental or nefarious deletions of locally stored content on a device from further causing the content to be deleted universally from the storage service and/or multiple other devices. For example, the storage service may be configured to receive content stored locally on the device, detect a deletion of the content on the device, and retain the content at the storage service.

  • Patent number: 10719409
Abstract: Cloud-based storage services are provided for storing and/or sharing content across multiple devices, where the content is periodically synchronized between the devices and the storage service. Embodiments are directed to retainment of locally deleted content at the storage service to prevent accidental or nefarious deletions of locally stored content on a device from being propagated to the storage service. For example, a selectable feature to retain locally deleted content, at the storage service may be presented through a display of a client device. A deletion of the content from the client device may be detected. The retained content may be prevented from being downloaded and stored locally on the client device when content at the storage service and the client device are synchronized if the feature was selected. If the feature was not selected, deletion options for the content may be presented through the display.

  • Patent number: 10697890
Abstract: The present invention relates to measuring hydroxyl in an atmosphere, including forwarding sunlight and ultraviolet light into a gas cell; switching between nitrogen gas only, or nitrogen gas and water vapor, into the gas cell; emitting ultraviolet rays into the cell which breaks down the water vapor into hydroxyl; and detecting a difference between two states, including 1) an OFF state where only nitrogen gas does not react to the ultraviolet light or the sunlight and there is no OH filter and the detector detects light that OH absorbs; and 2) an ON state where the water vapor is broken down by the ultraviolet rays to produce hydroxyl, and the gas cell acts as an OH filter and does not detect the light that OH absorbs; where a difference in signals measured by the detector in the two states is proportional to a column abundance of OH in earth atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 10656131
Abstract: Cavity enhanced absorption spectroscopy (CEAS) may include a pulsed light emitting diode (LED) configured to emit a light towards a photomultiplier tube (PMT). CEAS may also include a cell, which includes a pair of reflective mirrors located at opposite ends of the cell. The pair of mirrors are configured to bounce the light back and forth a plurality of times increasing the effective path length of the cell. The PMT is configured to detect the emitted light for ozone absorption measurement.

  • Patent number: 10616210
Abstract: Cloud-based storage services are provided for storing data across multiple devices, where access to the data is subject to a first authentication process. Embodiments are directed to a data protection feature to prevent accidental deletion or modification of the data stored at the cloud via unintended user actions on the clients or actions by nefarious software or hackers. For example, a data protection feature for a portion of data stored at the storage service may be selected, where the feature includes elevation of the first authentication process. An attempted operation performed on the portion of data may be detected. If the attempted operation is deletion or modification of the portion of data, a second authentication process may be prompted to enable the attempted operation to be performed on the portion of data at the storage service. The second authentication process may be elevated compared to the first authentication process.

  • Patent number: 10614042
Abstract: Cloud-based storage services are provided for storing and/or sharing content across multiple devices, where the content is periodically synchronized between the devices and the storage service. Embodiments are directed to detection of bulk operations associated with content stored at a storage service to protect users both proactively and remedially from accidental and/or nefarious content alterations propagating to the storage service and/or other devices. A model may be created based on a usage pattern associated with the content, an attempted operation performed on the content may be detected, and the attempted operation may be compared to the model to determine whether the operation deviates from the usage pattern. If the attempted operation deviates from the usage pattern, a preservation policy for the content at the storage service may be modified and a notification of the attempted operation may be provided to obtain user approval.

Embodiments are directed to detection of bulk operations associated with content stored at a storage service to protect users both proactively and remedially from accidental and/or nefarious content alterations propagating to the storage service and/or other devices. A model based on a usage pattern monitored and provided by a client device may be received at the client device from the storage service. An attempted operation performed on the content may be detected, and the attempted operation may be compared to the model to determine whether the operation deviates from the usage pattern. If the attempted operation deviates from the usage pattern, execution of the attempted operation and synchronization of the content with the storage service may be prevented until the attempted operation is approved.

  • Publication number: 20190086338
Abstract: The current invention is an automotive fluid identifier sheet. The sheet is a treated paper that will react to the liquids that drip from the vehicle to change colors. Examples of fluids in a regular car are Gas, Transmission fluid, Windshield wiper fluid, Brake fluid, and Power steering fluid. The sheet will assign a different color to each fluid to show which fluid to show the users what fluid has leaked.
