A voice access unit, for example, a telephone, may be connected to a Customer Premise Radio Unit (CPRU) via a wireline interface. The CPRU provides the voice access unit over-the-air, i.e., radio, access to one or more public switched circuit networks. A computing device, for example, a personal computer, may also, or in the alternative, be connected to a CPRU via a wireline interface. The CPRU provides the personal computer over-the-air access to one or more public packet data networks.
