  • Publication number: 20040050334
Abstract: A method and apparatus providing a teat cup assembly. The teat cup assembly includes a tubular sleeve, a milk receiving cup and a liner member. The liner member includes a head portion and a tubular elongate inflation portion. The head portion includes an upper teat chamber defined with a cylindrical wall having an outer exposed surface, an intermediate wall extending substantially orthogonally inward from the cylindrical wall and an upper seal wall laterally extending inward from the cylindrical wall having a central opening defined by the upper seal wall. The cylindrical wall of the head portion includes a cylindrical retaining extension configured to cooperate with and be coupled to an upper end portion of the tubular sleeve. The tubular elongate inflation portion includes side walls with opposite first and second ends defining a liner bore longitudinally along a length of the tubular elongate inflation portion with opposite first and second open ends.

  • Patent number: 5124390
Abstract: The invention relates to a whitened polymeric blend composition in which the whiteness is achieved by the substitution of from about 0 to about 20 parts per hundred rubber of calcium sulfate for from about 0 to about 20 parts per hundred rubber of titanium dioxide by volume. The invention allows for a reduction of up to 20 percent of the titanium dioxide, while maintaining a brightness of at least 85 as measured on the L scale of the Minolta Chroma Meter test.

  • Patent number: 4360152
Abstract: An auxiliary boiler is provided for substantially reducing fuel consumption of a conventional forced-air heating system. A boiler tank substantially filled with water is connected by hot and cold water lines to a heat exchanger disposed within the cold air duct of the forced-air heating system. A firebox which extends into the boiler tank is adapted to receive combustible material such as wood for heating the water in the tank. A pump directs hot water from the tank through the hot water line to the heat exchanger whereby cool air moving through the cold air duct is preheated as it passes through the heat exchanger. Heating tubes in communication with water in the boiler tank may extend through the firebox for supporting logs therein. Additional heating tubes may extend through a flue directed upwardly from the firebox through the boiler tank.
