Abstract: Vent assemblies for reservoirs and other closed systems. The vent assemblies include one or more apertures in a wall of the reservoir. A closure member is retained on the external surface of the reservoir by a closure member retainer and includes a first component and a second component, the second component is relatively conformable compared to the first component. The second component is positioned between the first component and the wall of the reservoir. A sealing surface is located on either the first component or the second component, where the sealing surface closes the aperture when the closure member is in an unvented position, and the sealing surface does not close the aperture when the closure member is in a vented position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a fluid delivery assembly (1) for a spray gun, the assembly comprising a container (20) for holding paint. The container is self-supporting and configured to collapse as fluid is dispensed via the spray gun, wherein the container comprises at least one vent (26). The invention further relates to a spray gun including such fluid delivery assembly, a method of forming the container and a thermo/vacuum forming tool to be used in such method.

Abstract: A flexible hand-held abrasive article includes a conformable backup pad having opposed major surfaces, a backing layer affixed to one surface of the backup pad, the backing layer containing a plurality of biaxially oriented openings, and abrasive particles arranged on the backing layer, thereby defining an abrasive surface. A method of making such an abrasive article is also disclosed. The abrasive article may also comprise a backing layer containing a plurality of biaxially oriented slits with abrasive particles arranged at least one surface of the backing layer.

Abstract: A hollow-shell road wheel for tracked vehicles includes a generally triangular, outer circumferential cavity formed by an outer rim and two wall members that extend radially inward at angles to a generally planar flange at approximately the mid-radius point of the hollow-shell road wheel. A series of hollow-shell road wheels assembled in a back-to-back configuration support the tracked-vehicle and act as guides for the track of the tracked-vehicle.
