Abstract: A composition of peracetic acid and at least one organic fungicide, a method and a use involving said composition are described. The composition is for the control and/or treatment of diseases associated with the presence of pathogens, more particularly in and on the tissues of a growing plant. The composition may be a powdered composition comprising the organic fungicide(s) and a peracetic acid precursor system, which once admixed with water, may be applied to the tissues of the plant to be treated. Preferably, the peracetic acid precursor system may comprise hydrogen peroxide or a hydrogen peroxide precursor and an acetylating agent. Also described is a kit for preparing an aqueous solution of the described composition, for use in controlling pathogens on a plant tissue of a growing plant.

Abstract: In some embodiments, an air-cooled ammonia refrigeration system comprises: an air-cooled condenser comprising a heat exchanger and at least one axial fan; an evaporator coupled to the air-cooled condenser; a subcooler positioned between the air-cooled condenser and the evaporator; a compressor coupled to the evaporator; an oil cooler coupled to the compressor; a water system coupled to the air-cooled condenser, the water system comprising a water source, a water pump, and a plurality of spray nozzles positioned below the air-cooled condenser; and a control circuit coupled to the air-cooled condenser and the water system, the control circuit configured to pulse atomized water through the plurality of spray nozzles to a surface of the air-cooled condenser when a head pressure of the air-cooled condenser is higher than a predetermined value.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a graphical interface and scheduling administrative rounds are presented. The graphical interface may present to an administrator a prioritized list of care providers based on care provider performance, care provider satisfaction, patient satisfaction, and labor data associated with the care provider. A schedule of administrative rounds to counsel the care provider may be presented to the administrator and may be based on the prioritized list, administrator and patient location, and administrator and patient schedule.

Abstract: Media, method, and system are described for generating a graphical user interface presenting care tasks to a care provider. Particularly, embodiments describe sensing a location such as a department, floor, or clinic, retrieving a population of patients, and producing a graphical user interface of care tasks to be performed. In embodiments, the graphical user interface may be generated based on prior performance of the care provider.

Abstract: Media, method, and system are described for generating a graphical user interface reflecting patient experience data. Particularly, embodiments describe behavior and satisfaction data from a hospital used to generate a prioritized task list graphical user interface. The graphical user interface may be presented at a separate location of care from the location at which behavior data was recorded.

Abstract: Media, method, and system are described for creating and operating software capable of performing steps to capture, collect, analyze, transfer, and present patient care information recorded in a patient care record. Particularly, mobile electronic devices of patients may be leveraged to support transfer of care data records from one care location to another.

Abstract: Edible seeds are sanitized with a composition comprising water, a biocidal agent and a solvent. The composition is applied to the seeds and the seeds are later dried without first rinsing the seeds. The application rate may be 15% by weight of the seeds or less. The solvent may be a water-miscible alcohol such as ethanol or propylene glycol. When sanitizing mucilaginous seeds, the composition comprises one or more alcohols in an amount effective to inhibit the release of mucilage. The composition is initially applied as a mist to mucilaginous seeds. The biocidal agent may be an oxidizer such as peracetic acid. A treatment system includes an atomizing sprayer and a dryer, for example a fixed bed forced-air dryer.
