  • Patent number: 9826015
Abstract: Dynamic control by a source device of sink buffer size for audio and/or video streaming over an error-prone channel. The sink buffer size may be determined based on a type of application for a media stream being transmitted from the source device to the sink device for presentation. The techniques may select a buffer size that is smaller for gaming applications, larger for interactive media applications, and even larger for non-interactive media types. The techniques adjust the time delta between a shared clock reference and time reference values of a transport stream that are used by the sink device to determine decoding or presenting of media frames of the transport stream relative to a shared clock reference. In addition, the techniques may account for transceiver latency at the source device due to scanning or multiple concurrent connections.

  • Publication number: 20170124559
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for providing a third party service via a wallet client. Service provider information is received from a service provider and stored in a wallet client database. Based on the service provider information, a wallet client is authenticated with a service provider system, a communication session is established, and a servicing environment is invoked.

  • Patent number: 8271304
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method capable of providing an estimated premium without extensive and repetitive questioning. The present invention utilizes unique assumptions to dramatically reduce the amount of information that must be provided by the customer. In one embodiment, the present invention utilizes a mainframe computer system, an application server, and an external rules management system to interact with the customer via an attractive graphic user interface. Once logged onto the website of the present invention, the customer may choose to engage in a fast quote process which utilizes assumptions, driver information, and vehicle information to assess the risk associated with insuring the customer and then calculates an estimated cost to insure.

  • Patent number: 8149880
Abstract: A system and method for synchronously transmitting media data is described. Synchronization data may be transmitted by a cycle master for receipt by one or more cycle slaves. A cycle slave may update an internal state based on the synchronization data received from the cycle master. The cycle master may transmit media data to multiple cycle slaves. The media data output by the cycle slaves may be determined, in part, by the internal state. In one embodiment, the media data may determine which cycle slave receives particular media data.

  • Publication number: 20070116397
Abstract: A wheel end or other assembly for facilitating rotation about an axis includes a tubular housing, a spindle that extends into the housing, and a double row antifriction bearing between the housing and spindle. The bearing includes at least one separate inner race that fits over the spindle, with the axial position of that race determining the setting for the bearing. Preferably, a spacer fits around the spindle between the inner race and a backing element. The assembly is unitized by deforming the end of the spindle outwardly against the end of the separate inner race with the deformation being sufficient to drive the inner race toward the backing element and collapse the spacer, if present. The deformation of the end of the spindle continues until bearing produces a torque that reflects a desired preload in the bearing.

  • Publication number: 20060097526
Abstract: A front bumper for a mobile vehicle that rotates to provide additional access to the vehicle engine. The rotating front bumper is provided in various embodiments, exemplifying possible modes of configuration and operation thereof. Specifically, methods of retaining the front bumper in a non-rotated position are presented, as are methods for preventing over-extension, and linkages that cause the front bumper to rotate when the hood is opened.
