    Abstract: A plurality of self-supporting first and second panels are disposed in alternating arrangement along the length of an open tank. A seal is provided around the perimeter of the cover and along the joint between each of the first and second panels. Each of the first and second panels is provided with a handle at the end of each of the panels that, when in a stored position, lies flush with a walking surface provided on the top of the cover.
