  • Publication number: 20240126676
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and articles for determining compatibility of a mobile application and operating system on a mobile device. In some aspects, a method includes receiving one or more data values from a mobile device having a mobile medical software application installed thereon, the data value(s) characterizing a version of the software application, a version of an operating system installed on the mobile device, and one or more attributes of the mobile device; determining whether the mobile medical software application is compatible with the operating system by at least comparing the received data value(s) to one or more test values in a configuration file; and sending a message to the mobile device based on the determining, the message causing the software application to operate in one or more of a normal mode, a safe mode, and a non-operational mode.

  • Publication number: 20230020701
Abstract: The invention includes devices, arrangements and methods for treating an endoscope after use to prevent adhesion of bioburden on internal walls of a lumen of the endoscope. After treatment, the device is stored in the treated condition until cleaning. The device is configured to selectively deliver cleaning solution to the endoscope. The device can be a circulating embodiment having a pump. A filter can be provided to filter debris during circulation. The device can be a non-circulating embodiment having a hydrophobic filter for release of air. Fittings are provided on the device components to selectively attach the device to endoscopes.

  • Patent number: 5564679
Abstract: A chemically-resistant fluid control valve is disclosed generally comprising fluid inlet and outlet passages separated by fluid control means, which control means comprise a flapper plate disposed in the fluid passageway and mounted on a rotatable shaft that passes laterally through the fluid passageway by means of releasable fasteners adapted to engage correspondingly-shaped fastener elements of the flapper plate, which elements are also adapted to receive the shaft in a channel between the fastener elements, wherein at least all wetted surfaces of each of the several components consist essentially of a chemically-resistant material.

  • Patent number: 5100100
Abstract: An improved control and shut off valve assembly is disclosed. The preferred valve assembly provides sufficient forces to overcome biasing forces so as to provide adequate shut off at a leakage rate of less than 10.sup.-9 std cc/sec of He with an atmospheric differential of Helium applied across the valve seat of the assembly, and precise control of the flow rate, all as a function of a single electrical control signal. In accordance with another aspect the valve seat is made from a material softer than the valve seat engagement means so that the seat is coined by the valve seat engagement means when first used so as to insure tight tolerances for sealing the valve passageway during the shut off mode. Finally, in accordance with yet another aspect of the invention, the valve assembly is constructed with no separate parts within the flow path so as to maintain a clean passageway.

  • Patent number: 4706505
Abstract: A low cost sensor is described. The sensor is responsive to the component of a force applied to the sensor relative to an axis of the sensor. The sensor comprises rigid, spaced-apart support members. At least one pair of electrically-conductive elements are positioned to move with the support members in response to the force, contact and compress against one another as the force component varies relative to the axis such that the electrical impedance between the two elements changes as said component of force changes.
