  • Patent number: 7771076
Abstract: A light emitting device includes a housing having a substantially elliptical perimeter and an elongated aperture for accepting the digits of a user's hand. A first light emitting source is positioned in the housing for projecting a beam of light into a distance in front of the user. A second light emitting source is positioned in the housing for projecting a beam of light toward a surface proximate the user's feet. The housing includes a handle between the aperture and the substantially elliptical perimeter for gripping the light emitting device and wherein the elliptical perimeter distributes a weight of the light emitting device substantially evenly across the user's grip to prevent the user's grip from becoming fatigued.

  • Patent number: 7434956
Abstract: A handheld flashlight includes a main body with a first and second end which also includes a power source within the main body. A light emitting source is attached to the main body proximate the first end. The main body includes a first switch operably attached to the main body proximate a second end and a second switch operably attached to the main body between the first end and the second end. The handheld flashlight includes circuitry within the main body that contains the first and second switches and connects the power source to the light emitting source through either the first switch or the second switch or both the first and second switches such that either the first or second switch can be manipulated independent of the position of the other switch to provide power to the light emitting source or interrupt power to the light emitting source.

  • Publication number: 20060108432
Abstract: A climate controller is mounted to a wall having an exterior surface. The climate controller includes a mounting bracket recessed within the wall and having a cavity therein. A faceplate is mounted to the mounting bracket and has an opening aligned with the cavity and wherein the face place is juxtaposed the exterior surface of the wall. A control module is positionable within the mounting bracket and wherein the control module comprises a control panel. When the control module moves in a first direction, the control panel is accessible through the opening in the faceplate. When the control module moves in an opposite direction, the control panel concealed from view through the opening and a visual impact of the climate controller in relation to the wall is minimized.
