Abstract: A crowder assembly having a rod, a housing, a push pad, and a rod coupler is provided. The rod is reciprocally movable and the housing is movable with the rod. The push pad is movable with the housing and the rod, and is configured to engage and move a workpiece. The rod coupler is located in a bore disposed in the housing and is coupled to the rod. Both the rod coupler and bore have a diameter, wherein the diameter of the bore is greater than the diameter of the rod coupler defining a radial clearance for the rod coupler.

Abstract: A pin clamp assembly having a housing, locating pin, at least one finger, a drive rod and an actuator is provided. At least a portion of the locating pin may be extendable exterior of the housing. The finger is located adjacent the locating pin and movable relative thereto. The drive rod is movable and is engagable with the finger to move the finger between clamped and unclamped positions. The actuator drives the locating pin and the drive rod. Movement of the locating pin and drive rod is linear only and no rotational movement of the locating pin and drive rod is employed to move the finger between clamped and unclamped positions.

Abstract: A clamp configured to grip a workpiece is provided. The clamp has at least one jaw having a tip assembly located thereon that includes at least one tip member selectively adjustable to a plurality of positions relative to the jaw. A driving mechanism configured to selectively hold at least one tip member at a plurality of positions relative to the jaw, is also included. The driving mechanism comprises an actuator and a driver. The driver is moved by the actuator to selectively hold at least one tip member in one of the plurality of positions.

Abstract: A clamp having an adjustable tip assembly is provided. The adjustable tip assembly includes a finger, wedge and spreader. The finger is configured to engage the workpiece. The wedge is configured to engage the finger. The spreader is configured to engage the wedge, and applies a force against the wedge. The wedge, in turn, applies a force against the finger to hold the finger while engaging the workpiece.

Abstract: A clamp assembly having a body, a power supply, a vane, jaw arm and stop is provided. The power supply is coupled to the body, and the vane located in the body. The power supply pivots the vane about an axis between first and second positions. The jaw arm is coupled to and movable with the vane. The stop limits the movement of the jaw arm during a loss of power to the vane.
