  • Publication number: 20080021211
Abstract: The present invention relates to production of polyketides and other natural products and to libraries of compounds and individual novel compounds. One important area is the isolation and potential use of novel FKBP-ligand analogues and host cells that produce these compounds. The invention is particularly concerned with methods for the efficient transformation of strains that produce FKBP analogues and recombinant cells in which cloned genes or gene cassettes are expressed to generate novel compounds such as polyketide (especially rapamycin) FKBP-ligand analogues, and to processes for their preparation, and to means employed therein (e.g. nucleic acids, vectors, gene cassettes and genetically modified strains).
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 16, 2007
    Publication date: January 24, 2008
Inventors: Matthew Gregory, Sabine Gaisser, Hrvoje Petkovic, Steven Moss

  • Publication number: 20070110387
Abstract: A display center for a weapons control system consisting of a frame including front leg rails, rear leg rails, side rail supports, a top plate, a rear cross-bracket, a bottom plate, a monitor area and a removable electronics box. The display center may include an upper monitor, a lower monitor and a monitor support and an integrated keyboard and trackball.

  • Publication number: 20060247828
Abstract: A method of accounting for errors in the altitude reporting of a terrain alert and warning system (TAWS) is disclosed wherein errors due to non-standard atmospheric conditions, incorrect altimeter setting and air data computer (ADC) sensor error are detected and corrected for by compensating ADC altitudes for cold temperatures as well as using global positioning system (GPS) altitude data to confirm the accuracy of the ADC altitude information at all times.

Inventors: Ricardo Ardila, Dean Farnham, Nick Feng, Robert Ferguson, Patrick Krohn, Steven Moss
  • Publication number: 20060162058
Abstract: A combination toilet seat and bidet apparatus includes a toilet seat member formed with a top wall, a continuous arcuate outer sidewall extending between opposite ends of a back wall and an inner sidewall defining, in part, a seat opening. An arcuate nozzle support arm is mounted on the seat member for rotation about an axis generally normal to the longitudinal axis of the seat member. An operating handle is connected to the arm at one side of the seat and a water flow control valve and operating handle are mounted on the seat opposite the arm operating handle for controlling water flow to a water jet nozzle mounted on the arm. The arm is adapted to be moved to selected working positions by the arm operating handle, and water flow may be selectively varied at will.
