  • Patent number: 10155839
Abstract: A composition comprises an adduct produced by reacting an amine compound and a cyclic siloxane compound. The amine compound comprises two or more amine groups independently selected from the group consisting of primary amine groups and secondary amine groups. The cyclic siloxane compound comprises two or more first siloxane moieties that contain cyclic ether moieties. An epoxy composition is made by reacting an epoxy resin and the composition comprising the adduct.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 10, 2016
Date of Patent: December 18, 2018
    Assignee: Milliken & Company
    Inventors: Steven P. Christiano, Olha V. Hoy, Robbie W. J. M. Hanssen
  • Patent number: 10138258
Abstract: A composition comprises a plurality of cyclic siloxane compounds. At least a portion of the cyclic siloxane compounds comprise first and second siloxane moieties having specified structures. A cyclic siloxane compound comprises a first siloxane moiety having a specified structure and a second siloxane moiety having a specified structure. An epoxy composition is made by reacting a composition comprising a plurality of cyclic siloxane compounds, an epoxy resin, and a curative. An epoxy composition is made by reacting a cyclic siloxane compound, an epoxy resin, and a curative.

  • Patent number: 9279031
Abstract: An amine-terminated, substantially linear siloxane compound comprises siloxane repeating units conforming to specified structures, one of which contains pendant aromatic groups. The amine-terminated, substantially linear siloxane compound further comprises amine-substituted terminal siloxy groups. An epoxy product is made by reacting an epoxy resin and the amine-terminated, substantially linear siloxane compound.

  • Patent number: 5648327
Abstract: Disclosed are aqueous liquid detergent compositions comprising dispersed particles of a silicone-based suds suppressor system and a separately added moderately hydrophobic particulate silica stabilizing agent. Such a separately added stabilizing agent serves to retard coalescence and coagulation of the suds suppressor particles and thus enhances the storage stability of the suds suppressor-containing detergent compositions of this invention.

  • Patent number: 4954280
Abstract: A stable liquid automatic dishwashing compositions as well as a process for its preparation is disclosed. The composition is an aqueous thixotropic fluid possessing a yield point. The composition may include swellable clays, synthetic polymers, a specified amount of multivalent cations, builder salts, an alkaline source, a hypochlorite source, nonionic or anionic surfactants, and defoamers. The system containing clay, polymer, and ions thickens the composition to provide structure to suspend finely divided solid components, while maintaining good salt tolerance and stability against hypochlorite.
