  • Patent number: 11420818
Abstract: A system for covering fluid containment tanks to contain vapors and minimize evaporation of the vapors into the surrounding atmosphere. The system includes a flexible cover and restraint elements, guiding rails which support the cover over a tank and provide guidance for extending and retracting the flexible cover, a belt drive extends the leading end of the flexible cover and a drivable drum provides a way to retract the flexible cover and upon which the flexible cover will be rolled and stored, and a method to locate tank elements beneath the flexible cover system to prevent operating interferences.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 1, 2020
Date of Patent: August 23, 2022
    Assignee: Dynatect Manufacturing, Inc.
Inventors: Brad Poikonen, Steven Piacsek, John Schwartz

  • Patent number: 9278593
Abstract: A bellows for an articulating vehicle has improved performance by using fewer discrete pieces of flexible material, and a multi-piece frame. By using fewer pieces of flexible material, less stitching is required, which results in improved performance and ease of manufacture.

  • Publication number: 20130340875
Abstract: A bellows design and a method of making such a bellows design are disclosed. The method of producing a folding bellows is simple in construction, utilizes assembly methods which are not complex, uses inexpensive materials, and provides protection similar to more complicated and expensive bellows. The bellows construction uses two basic components, a flat piece of flexible material and formed frame which are used in conjunction with each other to produce the folding bellows.
