Patent number: 11969118Abstract: A cooking system includes a housing defining a hollow chamber configured to receive food. The housing has an upper portion defining an opening to said hollow chamber. A lid is movable relative to the housing between an open position and a closed position. The lid seals the opening to the hollow chamber when in the closed position. A portion of the lid is selectively positionable to form a pressure-tight heating volume between the hollow chamber and the portion of said lid. At least one heating element is associated with at least one of the housing and the lid. The at least one heating element is arranged within the pressure-tight heating volume.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2022Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: SharkNinja Operating LLCInventors: Rupert Elliston, Roger Neil Jackson, Steven Carter, Benjamin Sharp, Thomas Guerin, Christopher T. Patent number: 8827178Abstract: An irrigation sprinkler is for use in distributing water to an area of vegetation, and has a rotatable nozzle for dispersing the water by rotation of the nozzle. A magnet is coupled or connected to the nozzle and rotates synchronously with the rotation of the nozzle. A sensor unit is disposed adjacent to the nozzle and detects a magnetic field generated by the magnet during nozzle rotation to generate a signal indicative of the speed and direction of rotation of the nozzle.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2010Date of Patent: September 9, 2014Assignee: Rain Bird CorporationInventors: T. Publication number: 20140071994Abstract: Current communication systems must not allow signal collision in order to avoid corruption of information. Proposed is a new shared channel system that will allow for more utilization of bandwidth by allowing two signals to collide. This shared channel technique extracts information from the collision of the two signals sent by two different transmitters. The signal of interest is extracted from the collision by undoing the effect of the channel and by removing the known signal from the resultant. This technique makes it possible for full duplex communication with a single communication channel or medium.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2012Publication date: March 13, 2014Inventors: Steven Sharp, Katheryn Glasscock

Patent number: 8516422Abstract: A method for implementing a single file format for power-related information for an IC comprising: providing a circuit design in at least one design file in a non-transitory computer readable storage device; providing power-related design information in a file in the computer readable storage device that is separate from the at least one design file and that specifies multiple power domains within the circuit design, each power domain including one or more design object instances from within the circuit design and that specifies multiple power modes each power mode corresponding to a different combination of on/off states of the multiple specified power domains and that specifies isolation behavior relative to respective power domains; and using a computer to add power control circuitry to the circuit design that implements the power domains and power modes and isolation behavior specified in the power specification information.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2010Date of Patent: August 20, 2013Assignee: Cadence Design Systems, Inc.Inventors: Qi Wang, Ankur Gupta, Pinhong Chen, Christina Chu, Manish Pandey, Huan-Chih Tsai, Sandeep Bhatia, Yonghao Chen, Steven Sharp, Vivek Chickermane, Patrick Gallagher

Publication number: 20070029404Abstract: A sprinkler is disclosed for improved flow characteristics. The sprinkler has a sprinkler head rotatably supported for distributing water and defining a flow channel for directing water flow therethrough with reduced head loss. The flow channel has a smoothly tapered portion for receiving water and channeling the water towards an outlet in communication with a first nozzle for distributing the water. The flow channel with reduced head loss produces a greater throw distance at a lower trajectory with a lower flow rate and pressure. The flow channel may be formed within a flow channel member positioned within the sprinkler head. The flow channel member may cooperate with the sprinkler head to define a cavity allowing water to pass through the cavity from the flow channel for emission from a plurality of other nozzles.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 21, 2005Publication date: February 8, 2007Inventors: Kevin Markley, Douglas Richmond, Steven Sharp

Patent number: 5231312Abstract: An integrated circuit package including a plurality of macrocells for connecting a logic circuit of the package to a plurality of external contacts of the package. At least one of the macrocells has an output driver that is enabled or disabled by a control signal for transmitting or preventing transmission of a logic signal to one of the contacts. The control signal is generated by a logic gate that receives and logically combines an individual output enable signal dedicated to that particular macrocell with a selected signal. One signal that may be selected is a regional output enable signal that is supplied to more than one macrocell. Each macrocell also has a feedback multiplexer selecting one signal to be sent to the logic circuit. Choices include a nonstored logic signal, a stored logic signal from a flip-flop register in the macrocell, a signal applied to the external contact associated with that macrocell, and a signal applied to another external contact associated with a different macrocell.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 1992Date of Patent: July 27, 1993Assignee: Atmel CorporationInventors: Geoffrey S.
