  • Patent number: 11860690
Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer peripheral mounting device for connecting a peripheral device to a support, wherein the support defines a thickness, comprises a fixed tubing extending in a longitudinal direction; a clamp coupled to a first end of the fixed tubing; an adjustment mechanism positioned at a second end of the fixed tubing, opposite the first end, and a shaft positioned within the fixed tubing and coupled between the adjustment mechanism and the clamp, wherein the adjustment mechanism is configured to rotate around the longitudinal direction relative to the fixed tubing in order to rotate the shaft within the fixed tubing and without the adjustment mechanism nor the shaft translating along the longitudinal direction relative to the fixed tubing, and wherein rotation of the shaft is configured to cause the distance between the first surface and the second surface to change.

  • Patent number: 11503194
Abstract: A coupling system for peripheral devices may include a housing and a shaft assembly. An end of the shaft assembly is threaded and couples to and uncouples from a peripheral device by relative rotational movement between the peripheral device and the shaft assembly. An inner cavity of the housing and another end of the shaft assembly defines a limited range of rotational motion between first and second rotational positions. Rotating the shaft assembly to the first rotational position allows for the peripheral device to be rotated relative to both the shaft assembly and the housing to couple the peripheral device to the housing via the shaft assembly. With the peripheral device coupled to the shaft assembly, relative rotational motion between the peripheral device and the housing is allowed between the first rotational position and the second rotational position without rotating the peripheral device relative to the shaft assembly.

  • Patent number: 8944251
Abstract: A packaging device, comprises a top wall formed as an arcuate isosceles triangle; a bottom wall formed as the arcuate isosceles triangle; an elongated generally rectangular planar main wall comprising a first longitudinal edge joined perpendicularly to the top wall along a first perimeter of the top wall, and a second longitudinal edge joined perpendicularly to the bottom wall along a second perimeter of the bottom wall, wherein the top wall and bottom wall are spaced apart by a length of the main wall; a first lateral edge joined to a second lateral edge at an acute angle and forming a continuous edge and defining an arcuate spine opposite and spaced apart from the continuous edge; wherein the top wall, bottom wall, and main wall define an interior cavity.

  • Publication number: 20110316319
Abstract: A footrest which is adapted to be used by a person for exercise, enjoyment and relaxation. The footrest included an arcuate upper surface for contact by the feet of the user and motion enabling means for allowing the user to move the footrest virtually omnidirectionally. The footrest incorporates a mechanism to ground the unit if excessive force is applied to it exceeding a preselected amount. The grounding mechanism includes preloaded compressed springs which allow one element of the footrest to inhibit the motion enabling means upon application of a preselected force or a given displacement.

  • Publication number: 20100084307
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a compact food processing apparatus for tumbling pieces of meat or other food in the presence of a marinade in an enclosed, sealed container (10) under a vacuum. The container (10) includes interiorly directed projections to tumble and turn the food during rotation of the container and a tenderizer which is separate from the container (10) and interfits into formations on the inside wall of the container to support the tenderizer along the length thereof. The container (10) has a closed end (6) and an open end (7) and a lid (20) to sealingly interfit into the open end to facilitate the creation of a vacuum within the container (10). The lid (20) has a one way valve which cooperates with a hand pump (50) to allow the pump (50) to create a vacuum within the container.

  • Publication number: 20050082401
Abstract: A hand-held rotary grating device is configured to grate soft cheeses that have traditionally been exceedingly difficult or impossible to grate. A cylindrical grating barrel is rotateably inserted within a grater housing. The barrel has an advantageous barrel aspect ratio—i.e., the ratio of the diameter of the barrel to the hopper width is sufficiently large that the grated food material falls through the opening of the barrel rather than accumulating and retarding the grating motion. The effective aspect ratio of the barrel is greater than approximately 1.5, preferably between approximately 1.5 and 2.5, and most preferably about 2.0. The barrel includes a graspable handle that is collapsible within the body of the barrel, and which includes a bearing surface that prevents axial movement of the barrel within the housing when the handle is extended, but which allows movement (and removal) of the barrel when the handle is collapsed.
