  • Patent number: 11941947
Abstract: A column and row matrix of play positions each having an open state and locked state, the open state for display of a random game symbol received during play of a game and the locked state for holding a game symbol having an award, for creating a win row or win column of award game symbols during sequential plays of the game, which game symbols in the win row after award are removed and award game symbols vertically higher in the matrix cascade to a lower play position having an open state for re-arranging the matrix for subsequent play of the game. A method of re-arranging a matrix game for play is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240054854
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a multi-reel skill-based redemption game. An indication of a user desire to participate in the skill-based redemption game is received. The user's account balance is decreased, and simulated reels are spun. Adjustment arrows are displayed for a subset of the plurality of simulated reels. The player selects a simulated reel and a direction of adjustment for the simulated reel. If the player's adjustment creates a winning pattern, the user is rewarded with an increased account balance. The user may also be provided a bonus amount for achieving a number of consecutive wins.

  • Patent number: 11881085
Abstract: A gaming system wherein a first reel strip is selected from a set of reel strips for a first game. The first reel strip has a set of first consecutive symbol positions and a set of second consecutive symbol positions, each associated with a plurality of symbols and the second consecutive symbol positions comprise at least two consecutive identical symbols. The first reel strip is then displayed within at least one reel. If the user desires to play one or more additional games, the system selects and displays at least one additional reel strip from a set of reel strips. The additional reel strip has a set of first consecutive symbol positions and a set of second consecutive symbol positions, each associated with a plurality of symbols, and the second consecutive symbol positions comprise fewer consecutive identical symbols than were present in the previous game.

  • Publication number: 20220301388
Abstract: A gaming system with an input device for play of a game as shown on a display device for a predetermined time, in which a temporal operative skill-based variable selection device has at least a first outcome portion and a second outcome portion with a movable indicator configured for moving therebetween during a predetermined travel time between the opposing first and second extent positions, whereby the player actuating the input device during the display of the variable selection device, is awarded a value associated with the respective first or second outcome portion if the indicator is in the win portion of the variable selection device. An embodiment may have outcome portions of a win portion and a non-win portion, whereby an award is obtained by skillfully actuating the input device with the indicator in the win portion. A method of skillfully selecting a prize by actuation of an input device when an indicator value is within an outcome portion is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11024133
Abstract: A gaming system including an input device, at least one display device configured to display a game comprising a matrix of rotating reels, a processor, and at least one memory including computer program code. The processor and memory are configured to cause the gaming system to receive a request from the input device to initiate a spin in a first game, cause, in response to the request, causing a plurality of reels to virtually spin. Each of the plurality of reels includes a plurality of first symbols and at least one bonus symbol. The memory and processor are also configured to cause the gaming system to determine, in response to a cessation of spinning of the plurality of reels, a number of bonus symbols displayed within a reel display matrix and trigger a second game in response to the number of bonus symbols satisfying a predetermined bonus symbol threshold.

  • Publication number: 20200027310
Abstract: In an embodiment, the invention is directed to a gaming system which designates at least one symbol as a trigger symbol, displays a plurality of symbols in a plurality of symbol display positions, and determines if any of the displayed symbols form any winning symbol combinations. If the displayed symbols form at least one winning symbol combination, the system displays an award and determines if any winning symbol combination corresponds with at least one designated trigger symbol. If this is the case, the system removes at least one symbol which does not correspond with the designated trigger symbol from the plurality of symbol display positions, optionally cascades symbols downward, and then determines if any of the displayed symbols form any winning symbol combinations. If the displayed symbols form at least one winning symbol combination, the system displays one of a plurality of awards for each displayed winning symbol combination.
