  • Patent number: 10568346
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing a powdered porous product from at least one starting powdery and/or viscous product, characterised in that it comprises the continuous following steps without exposing the product to open air: a) preparing the starting product in order to make it viscous; b) in a thermo-mechanical machine (10) for continuously realising transport and/or mixing functions of viscous products or dry-material rich products, lowering the viscosity of the viscous product without changing its dry-material content, by intimate mixing with a gas injected into the processing machine (10) and simultaneously initiating the porosity in the viscous product; c) continuously with the processing machine (10), statically or dynamically intensifying the intimate mixture of the viscous product with a gas in order to obtain an aerated and porous mass; and d), dividing said mass in order to obtain aerated and porous particles.

  • Publication number: 20130142006
Abstract: A system for producing homogenized oil field gel including a power unit, a control system, a feed tank, a hopper, and a piping assembly that includes inlet and outlet manifolds, centrifugal pumps, and metering devices for filling the feed tank and handling a discharge of oilfield gel. The system further includes a powder hydration component and liquid chemical equipment. The method for producing homogenized oil field gel includes a guar powder procedure including a controlled sequence for starting and stopping a venturi mixer in a hydration unit. The method for producing homogenized oil field gel further includes a liquefied gel concentrate procedure including a metering and chemical injection procedure for mixing a liquefied gel concentrate.

  • Patent number: 8253580
Abstract: A method of parsing a natural language phrase to retrieve data associated with a power monitoring system. An input receives a natural language phrase including terms, one of which indicates a data manipulation action for manipulating data of the power monitoring system. A parser component parses the phrase to extract the terms and maps those terms to corresponding category items. The parser component constructs a structured query based on the category items and provides the query to a processor component that retrieves the data from a data source specified in the submitted phrase. The processor component also manipulates the data according to the data manipulation action. The output from the processor component is provided to a presentation component that formats the manipulated data for presentation on a video display, and the formatted manipulated data is displayed on the video display.
