  • Publication number: 20160292205
Abstract: The embodiments described herein provide a system including a processor configured to execute a demand response management system (DRMS) integrity check system. The DRMS integrity system is configured to query a database system of the DRMS based on a first data to retrieve a second data, wherein the first data is configured to be used by the DRMS during a demand response event to respond to the event. The DRMS integrity system is further configure to verify integrity of the database by verifying that the second data includes a desired data property. The DRMS integrity system is additionally configured to communicate an indication of the integrity of the database.

  • Patent number: 9262718
Abstract: A computing device for use with a demand response system is provided. The computing device includes a communication interface for receiving customer data of a plurality of customers, wherein the customer data includes a participation history and historical consumption values for each customer for participating in at least one demand response event. A processor is coupled to the communication interface and is programmed to select at least one customer from the plurality of customers by considering the participation history and the historical consumption values for each of the customers. The processor is also programmed to estimate a future reduction in energy consumption for the customer based on the customer data and to determine whether the estimated future reduction in energy consumption is substantially accurate.

  • Publication number: 20130110970
Abstract: A computing device for use with a demand response system is provided. The computing device includes an interface that is configured to receive customer data of a plurality of customers. A processor is coupled to the interface and programmed to select a plurality of participants from the plurality of customers to participate in at least one demand response event based on the customer data received. The processor is further programmed to incrementally transmit a plurality of signals representative of the demand response event to the plurality of participants selected.

  • Publication number: 20130073105
Abstract: Systems and methods relating to renewable power notifications to alert consumers when renewable power becomes more available are provided. Specifically, renewable power generation may depend on changing conditions such as weather. As such, a system according to the present disclosure may involve a network interface and a processor, the network interface receiving a message relating to renewable power generation and sending a renewable power notification to a consumer. The processor may run a system that includes a component to detect renewable power availability based at least in part on the message, a component to determine whether to issue the renewable power notification to the consumer based at least in part on the availability of the renewable power generation, and a component to cause the network interface to issue the renewable power notification to the consumer.
