Abstract: Device for the ventilation of a transmission case (11) that is normally intended to hold liquid lubricant for transmission components and includes a residual internal volume of air inside the transmission case that is connected to the atmospheric pressure by way of a passage. With the aim of reducing the quantity of dirt particles than can get into the transmission case by way of the said passage, the passage includes a first section (27) with a certain flow area and a second section (26) with, by comparison, an at least approximately 50% larger flow area. The first section (27) is situated between the atmosphere and the second section (26). A compressed air source (I8) is connected to the passage between the internal volume of the transmission case (11) and the first section (27).

Abstract: A vehicle gearbox includes a basic gearbox with a main shaft that is an input shaft to a high-low range gearset joined to the basic gearbox. The basic gearbox has a control shaft, which, rotated in either direction from a neutral position, engages a selected gear. The control shaft is coordinated with a lock-out device which is controlled by a first sensor, which senses the speed of the output shaft from the range gearbox, and a second sensor which senses the engaged range in the range gearbox. An operating device holds the lock-out device in a lock-out position which prevents rotation of the control shaft towards the position for the lowest synchronized gear in the basic box, when the vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined speed in the low range of the gearbox.

Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed for treating liquid lubricant in a supply of lubricant such as a gearbox including a filter, an inlet for supplying the lubricant to one side of the filter, and through the filter into a cavity, a lubricant cooler downstream pf the cavity so that the lubricant can pass from the cavity through the lubricant cooler for cooling, an outlet for the treated lubricant, a connector for transporting the lubricant from the lubricant cooler to the outlet, with the connector being disposed within the cavity.

Abstract: The invention relates to a sensor arranged in a casing which is partly filled with a fluid (2) and which comprises a rotatable shaft (3) situated in the casing (1), where the sensor comprises a revolution counter sensor (6) for measuring the speed of revolution of the shaft (3) and on the other hand a temperature sensor (7) for measuring the temperature of the fluid (2). The revolution counter sensor (6) and the temperature sensor (7) form a unit which is situated in the casing (1) and above the surface of the fluid (2).

Abstract: A gear selector mechanism for a vehicle gearbox comprises axially displaceable shift rails and rocker forks joined thereto. Upon axial displacement of the shift rails, the rocker forks can swing to displace engaging sleeves in the coupling and synchronizing means of the gearbox. A plurality of rocker forks are journalled in a common fork holder formed by two parallel bars arranged at a distance from each other and oriented in the direction of the gearbox shaft.
