Abstract: Device in connection with safety belts for vehicles comprising a holding part, which can be anchored in the vehicle, and which is provided with a slit through which the band of the belt is arranged to extend. The holding part is designed with a supporting surface, against which the band is arranged to bear, and with a number of locking teeth. The locking teeth are arranged to project from said surface and penetrate the band of the belt, when this is subjected to a load in such a direction that the band of the belt is pressed against said surface with a force, the magnitude of which exceeds a predetermined value.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a locking device for a safety belt of winding-up type comprising a ratchet wheel provided to rotate when the belt is pulled out and a pawl mechanism arranged to stop the rotation of the ratchet wheel when the device is subjected to abnormal acceleration forces. The mechanism comprises a spring link which is arranged with one of its ends under spring bias to influence the pawl mechanism to be in a releasing or a locking position alternatively. A portion of the spring link opposed to said end is provided to be moved relative to the pawl mechanism in such a way that in one position the pawl mechanism is urged in a direction towards the releasing position, and in a second position in a direction towards the locking position, which movement is actuated by an inertia body sensitive to acceleration forces.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a buckle for safety belts which buckle comprises a buckle casing connected with one of the belt pulling elements which casing is provided with a spring biased detent lock and a tongue connected with the other pulling element of the belt, which tongue is provided with a slit and introduceable in the casing. The buckle has an electric switch by means of which a band roll, signal arrangements or similar are controlled, which control depends upon the state of the tongue relative to the buckle casing.
