  • Publication number: 20180331919
Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention relates to obtaining the network address of the network device such as an IP from a laptop, that it is stored in a system. This system then combines these IP addresses and IP address ranges from one or more network devices into groups. Each group has a list of these IP addresses and IP address ranges which can be downloaded and used within authentication device such as a firewall to only allow a specific group of laptops access to the network accessible resource such as a website or an email service.

  • Patent number: 7242428
Abstract: In one embodiment, an image sensor includes an area pixel array, column readout lines, and array readout lines, wherein the area pixel array includes columns of pixels, each including pixels of a first type, each column readout line is selectively coupled to outputs of the pixels of the first type that are included in a respective column of pixels, and each array readout line is selectively coupled to at least one of the first column readout lines. In another embodiment, an image sensor includes a pixel array, column readout lines, and array readout lines, wherein the pixel array includes a row of pixels which includes pixels of a first type, each column readout line is selectively coupled to an output of a respective pixel of the first type that is included in the row of pixels, and each array readout line is selectively coupled to at least one of the column readout lines.

  • Publication number: 20050187530
Abstract: A device (1) for causing the displacement of a piston (36) or diaphragm (4) comprising an enclosure containing unsaturated super-absorbent material (38) and including a piston or diaphragm; and a fluid inlet into the enclosure adapted to allow fluid into the enclosure and restrain the super-absorbent material form escaping from the enclosure; such that as fluid is allowed into the enclosure, it is absorbed by the super-absorbent material which swells against the piston (36) or diaphragm (4), causing displacement thereof. The piston (36) or diaphragm (4) may form at least one wall of the enclosure. Alternatively diaphragm may be a membrane of elastomeric material within the enclosure. The invention may be used in a drug delivery system, a air freshener, or a lavatory cleaner.

  • Patent number: 6570615
Abstract: In one embodiment, an image sensor includes a linear pixel array and array readout lines, wherein the linear pixel array includes a group of pixels arranged in a row, and each array readout line is selectively coupled to an output of at least one pixel included in the group of pixels. In another embodiment, an image sensor includes a linear pixel array and an array readout line, wherein the linear pixel array includes a first group of pixels, sensitive to a first color of light, arranged in a first row, and a second group of pixels, sensitive to a second color of light, arranged in a second row, and the array readout line is selectively coupled to outputs of pixels included in the first group of pixels and outputs of pixels included in the second group of pixels.
