  • Patent number: 11932153
Abstract: A vehicle includes a body defining a cabin having an interior and a passenger door, an interior panel located in the interior, a track located in the passenger door within the interior, and a desk operably housed in a slot in the interior panel and slidably coupled to the slot in the interior panel and the track to move between a stowed position within the interior panel and a use position extending outward from the interior panel.

  • Patent number: 11932154
Abstract: A vehicle includes a cabin interior, a dashboard located in the cabin interior, and a desk supported on the dashboard and movable between a stowed position on the dashboard and a deployed position extending outward from the dashboard, the desk comprising a plurality of interconnected panels having arms configured to engage a track to bend around at least a portion of the dashboard, and wherein the desk operably moves along the track when moved between the stowed position and the deployed position.

  • Patent number: 10051981
Abstract: A picture frame is constructed using a system and method wherein a pair of cooperating profile extrusion lengths are cut to size to form a frame to accommodate a piece of artwork. A continuous spacer is provided to be locatable between a cover sheet and backing sheet. The profile lengths are fastened together at the edges of the frame, thereby compressing the spacer between the cover sheet and backing sheet. As such an isolated volume is created that can be evacuated of oxygen for preservation of the artwork.

  • Patent number: 6305429
Abstract: Two embodiments of insulated pipework system are described. The first comprises an outer sleeve, an inner flow pipe and insulating material within the space therebetween and is characterised by the use of a longitudinally compressed elastomeric member in the space between the inner and outer pipes as the primary means for transferring longitudinal forces between the inner and outer pipes. The second comprises an outer sleeve pipe, an inner flow pipe, an insulating material within the space therebetween, other than hollow alumina-silicate microspheres, wherein a longitudinally compressed elastomeric member is provided at intervals in the space between the inner and outer pipes. Compression of the elastomeric member is preferably by way of rigid plates on either side thereof which compress an the elastomeric member. For example, bolts can be passed through bores in the plates and elastomeric member and tightened thereby to compress the said member.
