  • Publication number: 20240105977
Abstract: An apparatus for sensing voltage information of a fuel cell includes: a sensing unit configured to sense voltages of each cell and all cells included in a fuel cell; a controller configured to control the sensing unit to sense the voltages of each cell and all the cells of the fuel cell according to a command of an upper controller, or to transmit information of the sensed voltages of each cell and all the cells to the upper controller; and the upper controller configured to detect an error cell by calculating output power of the fuel cell based on the information of the voltages received from the controller, to substantially prevent damage to a surrounding cell by stopping an operation of the error cell, and to control the output power in real time in correspondence with a state of the fuel cell.

  • Patent number: 9364452
Abstract: There is provided a novel use of ramalin for preventing or treating liver diseases, and more specifically, a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating hepatic fibrosis or cirrhosis containing ramalin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a functional food containing the same. It was confirmed that at the time of applying ramalin, which is a compound derived from Ramalina terebrata according to the present invention, to animal models, ramalin may remarkably suppress hepatic fibrosis and lower liver cirrhosis levels as compared to silymarin known as a liver cell protecting ingredient without cytotoxicity to normal liver cells, such that ramalin may be effectively used for preventing or treating hepatic fibrosis and liver cirrhosis.

  • Patent number: 6306434
Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition comprising a cyclosporin solid-state microemulsion is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, the composition comprises a cyclosporin microemulsion dispersed in an enteric carrier. The composition does not dissolve in external phases such as artificial gastric fluid, but dissolves rapidly in artificial intestinal fluid, whereby it releases the cyclosporin microemulsion, providing rapid delivery of cyclosporin. The composition effectively maintains a therapeutic blood concentration of cyclosporin with once a day dosing, providing for convenience of administration and avoiding adverse effects induced by increasing peak blood cyclosporin concentrations associated with conventional cyclosporin formulations.

  • Patent number: 6063762
Abstract: The present invention relates to a microemulsion preconcentrate composition comprising (1) cyclosporin as an active component; (2) alkyl ester of polycarboxylic acid and/or carboxylic acid ester of polyols as a lipophilic solvent; (3) oil; and (4) surfactant. The composition according to the present invention is characterized in that it dissolves in an external phase such as water, artificial gastric fluid and artificial intestinal fluid by controlling the mixing ratio of the components thereby to get the microemulsion form of inner phase diameter of 100 nm or below. The composition according to the present invention can be formulated as the dosage form of a soft capsule, a hard capsule sealed with a gelatin banding at the conjugated portion, or an oral liquid preparation for oral administration.
