    Abstract: A light emission device, a method of manufacturing the same, and a display device using the same as a backlight unit. In one embodiment, a light emission device includes first and second substrates facing each other, a first electrode arranged on the first substrate in a first direction, a second electrode in a second direction crossing the first direction with an insulation layer interposed between the first and second electrodes, an electron emission region electrically connected to one of the first and second electrodes, and a phosphor layer formed on the second substrate, and an anode electrode formed on the phosphor layer. At least one of the first and second electrodes is divided into a plurality of sub-electrodes, first ends of which are for electrical interconnecting. A driving error electrode among the sub-electrodes is separated from the first ends of other normal electrodes.
