  • Publication number: 20080182725
Abstract: A pedal assembly has a base, a rail, a slider, a pedal and a transmission assembly. The base has a pivotal bracket mounted on the top at the front end. The rail is securely attached to the top of the base. The slider is slidably mounted on the rail. The pedal is securely mounted on the slider. The transmission assembly is mounted between the base and the slider to move the slider with the pedal along an enlarged oval movement travel and has a driven rod, a connecting rod, a lever and a connecting member. The driven rod is rotatably mounted on the base. The connecting rod is rotatably mounted on the base and is connected to the driven rod with a transmission device. The lever is pivotally connected to the driven rod. The connecting member is connected pivotally between the lever and the slider.

  • Publication number: 20080076639
Abstract: A prolong-tracked elliptical exercise machine has a base, two poles, two pedal assemblies and a wheel assembly. The pedal assemblies are mounted oppositely beside the base and each pedal assembly has a linking bar, a rail and a pedal. The linking bar is pivotally mounted between the corresponding pole and the wheel assembly. The rail is mounted securely on the linking bar. The pedal is mounted slidably on the rail and is synchronized to and moved along the rail by a driving assembly driven by movement of the wheel assembly. Accordingly, since pedals move relative to the rail, a distance of pedal movement is increased to provide greater exercise advantages at low cost.

  • Patent number: 6705973
Abstract: A display for exercise devices includes a holder, a display body, resilient members, two damper assemblies and a lock assembly. The holder has an open top and a central cavity. The display body has a bottom and is movably mounted in the central cavity of the holder with the resilient members and the damper assembly. When the display body moves downward in the central cavity and compresses the resilient members, the lock assembly mounted in the holder near the bottom of the holder locks the display body in position. When the lock assembly unlocks the display body, restitution forces in the resilient members push the display body smoothly out of the central cavity by means of the damper assemblies damping the speed of the display body.

  • Publication number: 20030008754
Abstract: A tube-adjusting device includes a tubular guide having a longitudinal line of apertures and a longitudinal groove diametrically opposite to the line of apertures. A tube extends in the tubular guide and has an inner transverse column defining a through-hole aligned with alternative one of the apertures and with the longitudinal groove of the guide. The inner transverse column has a threaded inner wall adjacent to the longitudinal groove. A pin is movable in the through-hole of the inner transverse column, and has a rounded end adapted to engage the apertures of the guide. A thumbscrew has a threaded shank extending into the through-hole in the transverse column through the longitudinal groove, and is threadedly engaged with the threaded inner wall. Additionally, a helical spring is received in the through-hole of the inner transverse column and compressed between the pin and the threaded shank of the thumbscrew.

  • Publication number: 20020165068
Abstract: A wheel support for an exercise device includes at least one support plate attached to a base. The support plate has a through hole defined to securely mount a first bearing. The first bearing is adapted to hold a crank. A flywheel is rotatably mounted in the support plate. The positions of the first bearing and the flywheel on the support plate are set prior to assembly so that a jig is unnecessary to manufacture the wheel support for an exercise.
