Abstract: A content display method for a mobile terminal is disclosed. The mobile terminal includes at least two hierarchical structures each having at least two contents at a level. The content display method includes: displaying, in response to selection of a content, a window associated with the selected content; displaying, in response to input of a multi-window display request, windows associated with contents at the same level as the selected content together on a single screen; and rearranging, in response to input of a window movement request, the content windows by window movement to display the rearranged content windows together on a single screen. As a result, same-level contents or application windows in execution can be displayed together on a single screen according to a user request. Hence, the user can readily transition between contents or applications with enhanced user convenience.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for providing handover of a mobile node in a wireless network supporting Mobile IP (Internet Protocol). The mobile node sends, when handover is needed, a request for neighbor access router information to a first access router currently communicating with the mobile node, and selects, if the neighbor access router information is received, a second access router serving as a target access router using the received neighbor access router information. The first access router exchanges access router information with a neighbor access router, provides neighbor access router information to the mobile node upon receiving the neighbor access router information request from the mobile node, and redirects data to be delivered to the mobile node to the second access router to which the mobile node will be handed over. The second access router forwards data to be delivered to the mobile node, received from the first access router, to the corresponding mobile node.

Abstract: A system includes a stereo image creation device for converting image data created by image detectors into stereo image data, receiving sounds collected by microphones so as to create sound data from the received sounds, creating stereo moving image data containing the stereo image data, the sound data, and synchronization information necessary to synchronize them, and transmitting the stereo moving image data via a communication network and a stereo image output device for receiving the stereo moving image data via the communication network, separating the stereo image data, sound data, and synchronization information from the stereo moving image data, synchronizing the stereo image data with the sound data according to the synchronization information, and outputting the stereo image data and the sound data via output units so that a performance is simulated at a remote place.

Abstract: A method for determining a data rate of next reverse packet data according to ACK/NACK information and rate control information received from a plurality of base stations in a mobile communication system in which a mobile station, located in a soft-handoff region managed by the base stations, transmits reverse packet data to the base stations, and each of the base stations transmits ACK/NACK information and rate control information, indicating a rate-up, rate-down, or rate-hold command, to the mobile station in response to the reverse packet data. The mobile station receives ACK information from at least one of the base stations, receives either ACK information or NACK information from base stations other than the at least one base station, and receives rate control information from all of the base stations.
