Abstract: A system and method for operating a networked software application on a network with sporadic connectivity is disclosed. A user may create in a client application on a user device business data transmission. The client application may transmit the order to a proxy module. A network detection module may check whether a network connection to a backend software application is available. If the network connection is available, the proxy module may transmit the order to a backend software application. The business data may be saved in the persistency module as it is being transmitted to the server. Otherwise, the proxy module may save the order in a persistency module. A middleware application may create a client specific subset of a set of master data stored with the backend software application. The middleware application may send the client specific subset to the proxy module. The proxy module may store the client specific subset in the persistency module to be used by the user in creating the order.

Abstract: A method and system for generating offline applications is provided. An application context for a business process is received. Based upon the application context, an application model is received. A user interface screen is extracted from the application model. A data object associated with the user interface screen is retrieved. A data relevant to the user interface screen is extracted from the data object based upon the application context. An offline application is generated from the application model and the user interface screen. The offline application and the data are packaged to generate a packaged application.

Abstract: This document discloses a system and method that assists in collecting, integrating, and displaying calendar data from a plurality of data source applications includes several components. In one implementation, a first client connector communicates with a first client application. A plurality of data source connectors communicate with a plurality of data source applications. Each data source connector communicates with a data source application. An integrator performs multiple functions. It receives a first calendar data request from the first client application through the first client connector. It also retrieves a plurality of calendar data items corresponding to the first calendar data request from two or more of the data source applications through the respective data source connectors. It integrates the plurality of calendar data items into a first integrated calendar data set. And, it transmits the first integrated calendar data set to the first client application through the first client connector.

Abstract: This document describes systems and methods for finding and accessing remotely stored information. In one aspect, a computer-implemented registry system for allowing a computer user to determine the location of an information item is provided. The registry system includes a record reception module. The record reception module receives a record that includes location information and one or more attributes of a stored information item. The record reception module also stores the record in a record repository. The record is generated at a site at which the corresponding stored information item is stored. The registry system also includes a request management module. The request management module receives from a terminal a request for information that includes one or more attributes of a requested information item. The request management module also compares the request with records stored in the record repository.

Abstract: A system for installing one or more components at one or more remote locations from a central location is provided. The system includes a parent site, which may include a transceiver and a repository. The system also includes a first child site, which may include a first web service to receive a first communication from the transceiver indicating that a first application is stored in the repository, to retrieve the first application from the repository, and to configure the first application at the first child site. Some implementations may enable connectors to be installed, configured, and/or upgraded at multiple remote sites from a central location once a web-services program is installed at each remote site. This may make administering an enterprise easier, which may lead to reduced maintenance costs.
