  • Patent number: 9323984
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for determining the emotional state of a user are described herein. In one example, the method for determining the emotional state of the user comprises receiving a feed from a sensor at a default sampling frequency, and analyzing the feed to determine facial features of a user. The method further comprises computing an emotional quotient of the user based on the facial features, determining a trigger to re-compute the sampling frequency the feed, based in part on the emotional quotient and computing a new sampling frequency based in part on the trigger. Thereafter, the method comprises generating instructions for the sensor to capture the feed at the new sampling frequency.

Abstract: Embodiments of apparatuses and methods for reforming of hydrocarbons including recovery of products are provided. In one example, a method comprises separating a reforming-zone effluent into a H2, C6? hydrocarbon-containing gas phase and a C5+ hydrocarbon-containing liquid phase. The H2, (C1-C11) hydrocarbon-containing gas phase is partially condensed and separated to form a H2, C6? hydrocarbon-containing net gas stream and a C3+ hydrocarbon-containing liquid stream. The C5+ hydrocarbon-containing liquid phase, the C3+ hydrocarbon-containing liquid stream, and at least a portion of the H2, C6+ hydrocarbon-containing net gas stream are introduced to a re-contacting recovery zone for forming a H2-rich stream, a C3/C4 hydrocarbon-rich LPG stream, and a C5+ hydrocarbon-rich reformate stream.

  • Patent number: 8825631
Abstract: A system and method for improved processing of an SQL query made against a relational database is disclosed. In one example embodiment, the method includes parsing the SQL query, received against the relational database, to obtain each operator and associated one or more operands and sequence of execution of the operators. Further, it is determined whether all needed closure-friendly operators exist. Furthermore, any available closure-friendly operators are obtained from a pattern repository if all needed closure-friendly operators do not exist. In addition, remaining or all non-available closure-friendly operators are dynamically generated. Moreover, the available closure-friendly operators and the dynamically generated closure-friendly operators are grouped into one or more patterns and impact of each pattern on a queried relational database and a database schema is classified. Also, the SQL query is executed using the one or more patterns based on sequence of the execution of the operators.

  • Patent number: 8673837
Abstract: A shaped solid cleaning composition, especially in bar format, which utilises the detergency properties of new materials which are more efficient, relatively inexpensive and are environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional soaps or synthetics surfactants; more particularly, a shaped solid cleaning composition which comprises a specific amount of structuring agent and a specific amount of a treated particle. The precursor of the treated particle is an asymmetric 1:1 or 2:1:1 clay particle having alternating tetrahedral and octahedral sheets terminating with a tetrahedral sheet at a first external surface plane and an octahedral sheet at a second external surface plane. Either or both of said external surfaces is attached with a fatty acid or derivative thereof.

  • Patent number: 8609601
Abstract: This invention relates to a liquid or soft-solid personal cleansing composition that utilises the detergency properties of new materials which are more efficient, more inexpensive and are an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional soaps or synthetic surfactants. It more particularly relates to a cleansing composition in liquid, gel or cream formats. The present invention provides for a personal cleansing composition comprising (i) 1 to 50% of treated clay particles; and (ii) a cosmetically acceptable base; wherein said treated clay particles are asymmetric 1:1 or 2:1:1 clay particles having alternating tetrahedral and octahedral sheets terminating with a tetrahedral sheet at one external surface plane and an octahedral sheet at another external surface plane, with a fatty acid of carbon chain length 10 to 22 attached to coordinating cation on one of said exterior surface planes.

  • Publication number: 20130304905
Abstract: A method for improved end-user experience in an enterprise network is disclosed. In one embodiment, key performance indicators (KPIs) of network devices, applications and input services are determined. Further, KPIs of base services are determined using the KPIs of network devices, applications and input services. Furthermore, the KPIs are compared with KPI threshold levels and KPI level alerts are generated. Moreover, key quality indicators (KQIs) of base services are determined using the KPIs. Also, the KQIs are compared with KQI threshold levels and KQI level alerts are generated. Further, a composite service quality (CSQ) index of a composite service is computed using the KQIs. Furthermore, the CSQ index is compared with CSQ index threshold levels and a CSQ level alert is generated. In addition, possible problem conditions are detected and then possible problem scenarios are determined and analyzed. Also, actionable items are identified based on the possible problem scenarios.
