  • Patent number: 9689488
Abstract: An integrated apparatus for detecting a gear shifting is provide that has a switch and a gear shifting detection controller for detecting a sports mode of a vehicle that are integrally implemented. The apparatus is configured to detect whether the mode is converted in to the sports mode based on a non-contact recognition manner. Therefore, production and assembly processes are simplified for providing the gear shifting detection controller and the switch to a gear shifting detection configuration, thereby reducing production costs, minimizing noise generated when a general gear shifting mode is converted into the sports mode, or the sports mode is converted into the general gear shifting mode. In addition, a lifespan of the switch configured to detect whether the mode is converted into the sports mode is increased.

  • Patent number: 9086128
Abstract: A structure of a shift lever that changes to a manual mode. The structure includes a shift lever that has a protrusion formed to a horizontal side and a base spaced from the shift lever to allow the protrusion to reach the base during horizontal movement of the shift lever. A G-return to which the protrusion is coupled is mounted on the base to be able to turn and a knob that is connected to one end of a knob lever pivotably mounted on the base with the other end of the knob lever facing the shift lever, slides with the horizontal movement of the shift lever. The conversion to a manual mode is sensed from the sliding of the knob and change to the manual mode is controlled by turning of the G-return.

  • Publication number: 20140102238
Abstract: A shift lever operation structure may include a shift plate, which moves along with a shift lever so that either manual or automatic mode is selected, and has an engaging part. An engaging plate may have a connection part corresponding to the engaging part so that, during the automatic mode, the engaging plate engages with the shift plate, and during the manual mode, the engaging plate is disengaged from the shift plate. An elastic member may be assembled with the connection part of the engaging plate such that the elastic member is deformed by the insertion of the engaging part into the connection part.

  • Publication number: 20090314122
Abstract: Provided are an apparatus for adjusting the tension of a cable used in a parking brake and a parking brake apparatus using the apparatus. The apparatus for automatically adjusting the tension of a cable in a parking brake includes: a rod which includes saw teeth in a portion of an outer circumferential surface thereof and has an end connected to the cable; an elastic member which, when the cable is loosened, moves the rod with an expansive force thereof to stretch the cable; and a pawl which engages with the saw teeth of the rod to hinder the rod from moving in a direction that contracts the stretched cable; wherein the elastic member provides the expansive force to the rod, and the rod is moved by the expansive force to stretch the cable, thereby maintaining the tension of the cable.
