    Abstract: Ink, ink sets, and methods of printing are provided. The inks can include an aqueous solvent system including from about 5 wt % to about 20 wt % organic co-solvent, from about 2 wt % to about 5 wt % black dye, and a dye selected from cyan, magenta, and yellow dyes. The ink can be formulated such that upon printing on a print medium, the printed ink or inks can maintain a neutral black, defined by a chroma value of less than 7. This neutral black can be maintained such that the printed ink or image has a chroma value of less than 7 for substantially all L* values ranging from about 7 to about 12.
