  • Patent number: 11758403
Abstract: Theft identification, prevention, and remedy are provided. A determination is made that a client device has been compromised. When the device makes the determination, a message is conveyed to the server and the server replies with a security challenge. When the server makes the determination, the security challenge is automatically sent to the device. An intelligence manager on the device attempts to answer the security question without interaction from the user. If there is an anomaly, a challenge is output to the user. Based on a false response to the challenge, a current data stream may be disrupted and removed from the device. Further, other devices in the network may be notified about the compromised device.

  • Patent number: 11631269
Abstract: Potentially fraudulent documents can be identified automatically and flagged for further review. Document fraud detection can include a number of fraud detection tests, where if the document fails any of the tests, the document can be flagged for further review. Various tests can be performed that seek to determine whether a document has been altered. In one instance, a financial instrument can be scanned and analyzed to identify one or more layers associated with the financial instrument from a scanned representation, and a check of transaction details can be triggered when the financial instrument is associated with multiple layers.

  • Patent number: 10733435
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for a document fraud detection system for identifying fraudulent documents. The document fraud detection system can include up to three steps of fraud detection, where if the document fails any of the three steps, the document can be flagged for further review. In another embodiment, the document fraud detection system can score each of the three tests, where the scores represent the likelihood that the document is fraudulent. If the combined score satisfies a predetermined criterion, the document can be flagged as potentially fraudulent. The three tests can include analyzing a scanned image of the document and comparing to other similar documents to determine if there have been any alterations. The second test can compare indents to previous documents, and the third test can analyze chemical and biometric factors that may indicate whether the document has been altered.
