  • Patent number: 7291288
Abstract: To provide a further improvement of luminescence performance such as an extension of a continuation time of a light accumulation luminescence or a luminescence by ultraviolet rays, by a control of the structure of the artificial stone. A noctilucent/luminescent artificial stone including a transparent aggregate, at least one kind of a light accumulation material and a luminescent material by ultraviolet rays along with a resin is characterized by that the luminescence performance of the artificial stone is higher than that of the included light accumulation material or luminescent material by ultraviolet rays per se.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 17, 2006
Date of Patent: November 6, 2007
    Assignee: Availvs Corporation
Inventors: Sumiyo Yamanashi, Mieko Sakai, Kenichiro Saito
  • Patent number: 7204658
Abstract: A photoluminescence road marking material which is useful for a marking of a lane of a road, has a high photoluminescence performance along with a required wear resistance and weather resistance, can find an application not only in a white line, but also various types of other color lines by suppressing a green color tone and can further be imparted with a non-slip performance. There is provided the photoluminescence road marking material in which a resin paste containing a transparent resin component and a photoluminescence pigment component is applied on a surface of a road to form a photoluminescence layer, and the resin paste is compounded with from 7% by weight to 95% by weight of the transparent resin component based on the entire weight of the resin paste.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 27, 2002
Date of Patent: April 17, 2007
    Assignee: Availvs Corporation
Inventors: Kenichiro Saito, Mieko Sakai, Sumiyo Yamanashi
  • Patent number: 7074345
Abstract: A photoluminescent material is formed by curing a blend of a transparent base material and a photoluminescent pigment component, wherein the viscosity of the transparent base material is 1 Pa·s(20° C.) or more and is added in an amount of 7 to 95 wt %. Luminescence performance is further improved by taking in consideration the relation between the internal structure of a molding and its luminescence performance, thereby achieving a luminescence of predetermined brightness for an extended period of time.

  • Patent number: 6866914
Abstract: A novel artificial stone which contains an inorganic aggregate and a resin and has an uneven surface wherein the inorganic aggregate is exposed, wherein the average depth of concave grooves of the surface is in the range of 0.02 mm to 1.0 mm and the volume percentage of the inorganic aggregate is 25% to 75%. The artificial stone has an elaborate structure, exhibits transparent and deep sense, has excellent massive feeling and color like a marble, has a high surface hardness, exhibits good formability, and exhibits excellent non-slop performance even when it is contacted by bare feet or by hard soles of shoes.
