    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for separating sugars and acids with reduced energy consumption, including a step of diffusively dialyzing a first acid hydrolysate obtained by saccharifying biomass with an acid solution, thereby preparing a second acid hydrolysate wherein the concentration of the acid solution contained in the acid hydrolysate is decreased; and a step of electrolyzing the second acid hydrolysate, thereby separating sugars from the acid solution, which is advantageous in that less energy is consumed, the separated acid solution can be recycled directly without further treatment due to high concentration and loss of sugars can be minimized.

The Synechococcus elongatus strain is economically efficient because a high-value added squalene is produced using light and carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere as a carbon source, and the method for producing squalene is eco-friendly because the strain may be utilized to remove or reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by using microorganisms. The strain of the present disclosure may produce only squalene, which is a desired target material with high purity, and has an advantage in that squalene may be continuously mass-produced.

According to the present invention, poly(organophosphazene) is a phosphagen-based polymer showing biodegradability, thermosensitivity, and sol-gel phase transition depending on temperature change, whereby when administered into a living body with bioactive substances such as drugs, the poly(organophosphazene) forms a gel-phase at body temperature to be capable of controlled release of the bioactive substances. Further, the poly(organophosphazene) has functional groups to chemically bind with bioactive substances through an ionic bond, covalent bond, or coordinate covalent bond to be capable of a sustained release of the bioactive substances due to its good binding property. Therefore, the poly(organophosphazene) is useful as a delivery material for bioactive substances.
