  • Publication number: 20240170341
Abstract: Semiconductor devices and methods of manufacture are discussed. In an embodiment, a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device includes: forming first nanostructures from a first material over a substrate; forming second nanostructures from a second material different from the first material over the substrate, wherein the first nanostructures and the second nanostructures alternate vertically above the substrate; removing the first nanostructures; after the removing the first nanostructures forming an interposer in between the second nanostructures; after the forming the interposer forming a first source/drain region over the substrate and in direct physical contact with the second nanostructures; and removing the interposer exposing surfaces of each of the second nanostructures.

  • Patent number: 7785521
Abstract: A method of manufacturing shoe outsoles from waste plant fibers includes steps of: bleaching plant fiber powders; activating the plant fiber powders through a graft reaction process; mixing the plant fiber powders and recycle rubber powders to enhance physical properties of the plant fiber powders; adding a homogenizing agent to fully blend the hydrophilic plant fiber powders and the lipophilic recycle rubber powders to form a recycled material; mixing the recycled material and thermoplastic rubber into a mixture; aging the mixture for an aging time; granulating the mixture; and producing a shoe outsole through an injection molding process. Thus a novel approach is provided to produce shoe products. Waste plants or rubber can be recycled to improve environmental conservation and protection.

  • Publication number: 20090038179
Abstract: A massage shoe equipped with germanium includes an outsole and a shoe pad made from high polymers (such as rubber or plastics). The outsole has a recess at the top surface surrounded by a flange to hold the shoe pad. The shoe pad has a plurality of bosses of different shapes formed at the top thereof. Each of the bosses has a plurality of massage bulged spots formed at the top surface. At least one of the bosses (or all) contains germanium which can radiate infrared light to provide massage and healthcare effect to users wearing the shoe.

  • Publication number: 20070228601
Abstract: A method for manufacturing shoe soles from plant starch includes mixing Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) with plant starch, and adding a processing assistant, a dispersing assistant, a bulking agent, processing oil and an anti-oxidation agent to be mixed thoroughly in a mixer at a temperature between 30.-190.. Then the mixed materials are extruded through an extrusion machine to become granules of raw material contained the plant starch for the shoe soles. The raw material thus formed is mixed with a pigment and dying additives, then is injected through an injection machine and molds to become the shoe soles contained the plant starch. The plant starch is renewable; hence reliance on the petroleum materials is reduced. As a result, it can better meet environmental conservation and protection requirements.

  • Patent number: 6675502
Abstract: An integrated injection forming shoe midsole having a dual-layer pad includes a midsole and a dual-layer pad integrally formed by an injection forming process to form a tightly bonding between the midsole and the dual-layer pad. The dual-layer pad has a softer pliable pad on the upper layer and a harder and resilient cushion pad on the lower layer, and a buffer section corresponding to the heel location. Through the buffer section and the upper and lower-layers which have different material properties, the midsole may provide wearers more comfortable feeling and shock-absorbing bouncing resilience when touching ground surface.

  • Publication number: 20030126770
Abstract: An integrated forming shoe having massage and shock-proof effects includes an arched and bulged section corresponding to the arch portion of human sole. The arched and bulged section has a profile and height matching the arch portion of the sole. A massage block is embedded in the interior of the insole corresponding to the arched and bulged section for stimulating the vital point reflection zone on the arch portion (i.e. Yung Chuan vital points) to attain massage and stimulation effect.

  • Patent number: 5933982
Abstract: A midsole construction includes a midsole sheet with toe and heel portions. An elastomeric resilient shock-absorbing block is embedded in the heel portion, and has a density higher than and is more rigid than the midsole sheet. The block includes an upright resilient surrounding wall, a plurality of cavities formed within the surrounding wall, and a plurality of upright resilient interior walls which are connected to the surrounding wall to confine the cavities. Preferably, the surrounding wall is substantially cylindrical. The interior walls include interior circular walls formed within the surrounding wall, and radial walls extending between the interior circular walls and the surrounding wall for enhanced provide great resilient and shock-absorbing effects.
