  • Patent number: 7011496
Abstract: A fan device for decreasing eddy flow area includes a fan module and a ring unit. The fan module has a fan rotor and a motor stator set and the fan rotor is movably connected to the motor stator set. The motor stator set has a guide flow device, which provides a plurality of guide flow blades. The ring unit provides a plurality of locating slots corresponding to the guide flow blades so as to be inserted with the guide flow blades easily. The ring unit can reduce the eddy flow area formed by way of counter flow reflected from an electronic component under the guide flow device to increase flow rate and speed of the air flow. The ring unit is independently attached to the guide flow device so that it is easy to be mounted to the guide flow device and capable of lowering the production cost.

  • Patent number: 6997678
Abstract: A heat dissipation fan includes a fan module and a flow guide device. The fan module further includes a motor stator set and a fan rotor. The motor stator set provides an axial core and an annular join part. The fan rotor is rotationally joined to the axial core. The flow guide device provides a plurality of flow guide blades. An annular section is provided on the flow guide blades and the flow guide blades is integrally made with the annular join part or the flow guide blades is integrally made with a frame and the frame being attached to the motor stator set. The annular section can reduce an eddy flow area, which is formed due to an electronic component impeding the air flow and creating counter air flow under the flow guide blades, so as to increase flow speed and flow rate of the air flow blown by the fan rotor and approaching an electronic component.

  • Publication number: 20050226719
Abstract: A built-up guide flow fan device includes a first guide flow fan and a second guide flow fan. The first guide flow fan provides cooling blades and a guide flow part and the guide flow part is composed of guide flow blades, which are disposed next to the air outlet of the first guide flow fan. The second guide flow fan is attached to the first guide flow fan with the air outlet of the first guide flow fan being mounted to the air inlet of the second guide flow fan. The second guide flow fan provides cooling blades and a guide flow part too and the guide flow part is composed of a plurality of guide flow blades, which are disposed next to the air inlet of the second guide flow fan. The guide flow blades of the first guide flow fan and the guide flow blades of the second guide flow fan butt to each other tightly to form guide flow passages. Air pressure and flow rate of air flow blown by the built-up guide flow fan can be increased effectively.

  • Patent number: 6849978
Abstract: A motor having a magnetic bearing. The motor includes a base provided with a bearing seats, a stator fixed to the base, a rotor equipped with a rotation shaft and able to rotate relative to the stator by magnetic forces generated from excitation, a bearing fastened to the bearing seat of the base for accommodating the rotation shaft of the rotor, and a magnetic unit composed of a first, a second and a third magnetic elements. The second magnetic element is located below the first magnetic element. The third magnetic element is located below the second magnetic element. By employing the magnetic force, the second magnetic element is restrained between the first and third magnetic elements, thereby limiting a shift range of the rotation shaft.
