  • Publication number: 20240141061
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an antibody binding specifically to CD55 or an antigen-binding fragment thereof; and a composition for preventing, treating and/or diagnosing cancer containing the same. The antibody of the present disclosure may be used as an effective therapeutic composition for various CD55-mediated diseases since it shows high binding ability and inhibitory effect for the CD55 protein which promotes tumor growth by inhibiting the complement immune mechanism. In addition, the antibody of the present disclosure may be usefully used as an effective therapeutic adjuvant that fundamentally removes drug resistance and remarkably improves therapeutic responsiveness in various diseases in which resistance to therapeutic agents with CDC (complement-dependent cytotoxicity) as a mechanism of action has been induced due to overexpression of CD55.

  • Patent number: 7644619
Abstract: A piezoelectric vibrator and an ultrasonic motor having the piezoelectric vibrator. A piezoelectric vibrator has a multilayered piezoelectric actuator, with special internal and surface electrodes making the body vibrate in a longitudinal and bending direction when an electrical signal is inputted. It can be manufactured using conventional multilayer piezoelectric actuator manufacturing techniques, therefore, it has reduced manufacturing time and cost, as it is not necessary to go through two polarization processes, and may simplify and decrease the volume, while improving the vibration performance.

  • Patent number: 7352109
Abstract: There is provided a flat type piezoelectric ultrasonic motor for generating a rotation force to a rotor by ultrasonic vibrations. In the piezoelectric ultrasonic motor, a vibrator is formed of elastic material at a given size, a plurality of piezoelectric plates are attached on the vibrator, a rotor is drivingly connected to the vibrator thereby to be rotated, and a power source unit applies driving voltages to the piezoelectric plates. The piezoelectric plates are arranged on quartered surface areas of the vibrator in such a way that longitudinal axes of neighboring piezoelectric plates form a given angle therebetween and opposing piezoelectric plates have opposite polarizations, and the power source unit applies alternating driving voltages to the piezoelectric plates thereby to make the rotor rotated, thereby making it possible to simplify the piezoelectric plates' shape, minimize its size and enhance its driving efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6710936
Abstract: An image sensor module with a zooming function is disclosed. The sensor module consists of first and second barrels for respectively holding condensing lenses used for image capture, and a housing having a guide channel at a sidewall thereof and movably and stably receiving the first extensions of the first and second barrels in the guide channel such that the first and second barrels are moved along a focusing axis of the condensing lenses. The sensor module also has a motor for generating a rotating force, a motor gear formed on the output shaft of the motor, and a means for controlling the interval between the first and second barrels by converting a rotating action of the motor gear into a linear movement of the first and second barrels in a horizontal direction. In the sensor module used in a variety of electronic apparatuses, the condensing lenses are movable to change their positions, thus accomplishing a zooming effect while precisely condensing light beams to produce clear images.
