    Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention includes: a memory which stores one or more mapping parameters that indicate the correlation between a voltage change amount and the state of health (SOH) of the battery; and a processor, wherein the processor can be set to: detect that an external device for charging the battery is connected to the electronic device; charge the battery by using a charging current supplied from the external device; decide on at least one mapping parameter among the one or more mapping parameters on the basis of at least the charging current; check the voltage change amount of the battery while the battery is being charged; and acquire the SOH of the battery at least partially on the basis of the at least one mapping parameter and the voltage change amount.

The plurality of second unit cells are disposed within the case to be adjacent to the first face and the second face, respectively, and the first unit cell is interposed between the plurality of second unit cells.

    Abstract: Certain embodiments of the disclosure relate to a bimodal-type cathode active material for a lithium ion battery. The cathode active material includes a mixture of layered LiCoO2 large particles and manganese-based olivine structural small particles. The manganese-based olivine structural small particles may be represented by chemical formula LiCoxMnyFezPO4 (0?x?1, 0<y?1, 0?z?1, x+y+z=1). An average particle diameter of the large particles may be 16 to 25 ?m, and an average particle diameter of the small particles may be 1 to 3 ?m. The cathode active material of the disclosure can achieve high energy density and high voltage stability.
