  • Publication number: 20240020092
Abstract: Systems and methods for contactless control of a physiological monitor are provided. A number of systems utilize an input device for audio-based control of a physiological monitor and/or an input device for gesture-based control of a physiological monitor. Many systems process audio (e.g., voice) or gesture commands to direct a physiological monitor to perform actions, such as begin monitoring, silencing an alarm, changing parameters, navigating screens and/or menus, and/or any other function. Such contactless systems reduce or eliminate physical contact with a physiological monitor, which can mitigate contamination between patients or individuals, which can occur via traditional systems.

  • Publication number: 20230380701
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for remote patient management and monitoring. The patient is monitored with a wireless sensor system connected to an application executing on a patient user computing device. The system continuously monitors physiological parameters, such as, but not limited to, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, perfusion index, pleth variability index, and/or respiration rate from the photoplethysmograph. The system triggers alarms if the patient physiological data violates thresholds. Care providers review patient data and associated alarm(s) with graphical user interfaces.

  • Publication number: 20160324486
Abstract: The present disclosure includes a medical monitoring hub as the center of monitoring for a monitored patient. The hub includes configurable medical ports and serial ports for communicating with other medical devices in the patient's proximity. Moreover, the hub communicates with a portable patient monitor. The monitor, when docked with the hub provides display graphics different from when undocked, the display graphics including anatomical information. The hub assembles the often vast amount of electronic medical data, associates it with the monitored patient, and in some embodiments, communicates the data to the patient's medical records.

  • Patent number: 8915356
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure include a key management system and organizer for storing a plurality of keys. The key management system and organizer may include a first component and a second component, which together form a case. The first component may have a first clearance opening, a first magnet proximate to the first clearance opening, and a second magnet distal from the first clearance opening. The second component may have a second clearance opening, a first compatible magnet proximate to the second clearance opening, and a second compatible magnet distal from the second clearance opening. Each of the first component and the second component may have a pad adhered to an interior surface thereof. The first magnet and the second magnet may engage with the first compatible magnet and the second compatible magnet, creating a case having an interior configured to accommodate a plurality of keys.
