  • Publication number: 20100237204
Abstract: An expansion device, for use for flotation and as a headrest, is formed of flexible corrugated tubing capable of contracting into a compact size for storage, and said tubing capable of expanding for application about the body of the wearer, the expandable tubing including end caps capable of hermetic sealing to seal the interior of the expansion device when used for floatation. The end caps that have an eyelet provided there through, for the application of strapping, when the expansion device is applied to the body of the wearer when used as a flotation support. The expandable tubing is made of polymer, and can include a spiral wire integrated in one of the apex or valley of one tubing to reinforce the expandable tubing during repeated application.

  • Patent number: 7748433
Abstract: A support assembly for a collapsible automobile shade such as a pleated or folding screen which can be selectively moved between a collapsed position for storage and an open position for placement in a vehicle window. The support assembly consists of one or more arcuate compressible members which extend beyond the perimeter of the pleated or folding screen. Each of the arcuate compressible members is resiliently compressible, for the purpose of conforming to an edge or perimeter of an automobile window in which the shade is installed, while maintaining the screen in an open position, thereby supplying an expansive force to hold the shade in place in the open position. The shade can also be provided with a pocket.

  • Patent number: 7624886
Abstract: A hand held device has compartments and collapses for storage during periods of non-usage. The carrier has two trapezoidal shaped wings, hingedly connected upon the taller end. Hook and loop fasteners and a strap through handles temporarily secure the wings together. Each wing has two removable dividers forming compartments and collapses as its sides fold inwards. The present invention provides pockets, a detachable strap, and dividers. The carrier also has fabric covered panels with piping upon the edges, open mesh and elasticized pockets, and feet upon the bottom of the wings. The carrier transports beverages, tools, and parts among other things that may require compartments.

  • Patent number: 7089878
Abstract: A spiral configured structure formed of metal or polymer is naturally biased into an erected and spiral arranged position, to form either a cone, a cylindrical structure, or other shaped structure, and which includes a series of lights, or a highly illuminated or phosphorescence dyed cloth, to act as a warning structure to the surrounding environment. The spiral structures can be contracted, into a flattened or near flattened configuration, and held by a fastening band, into closure. Various cross bracings or members are applied, at particular locations of the spiral structure, to provide it with reinforcement and rigidity at their upper and lower regions.

  • Publication number: 20040084448
Abstract: A collapsible container for storage, including a highly resilient framework fabricated from springsteel, carbon, or other resilient polymer frame members, into a supporting configuration, into the shape as desired for the final storage container, and having a fabric material provided thereover, to form the side walls, base, and perhaps even a top cover, for the configured storage container, when readied for usage; but because of the inherent resiliency of the frame members, the entire container can be collapsed, into a reasonably flattened or laminar condition, for storage, transit, locating within luggage, or the like.
