    Abstract: A waistband adapted to surround the waist of a wearer as a fashion accessory comprises both a scarf and a semi-rigid form made of flexible sheet material. The scarf covers and is wrapped about at least a portion of the form, when in use as a waistband, with the form disposed at the midsection of the wearer. The scarf thus takes on a shape defined in part by the form.
